Nature's Valley Beach
Saltwater Trail Nature's Valley is a great hike to enjoy the forest, fynbos and the sea. Some parts along the coast can be dangerous, so tackle this at low tide.

Very beautiful. Salt river hike is not to extreme. The view is totally worth it.

Nature's Valley Beach
The best beach for a walk. Fresh clean air, no noise pollution. Just the sounds of nature and the ocean. Really a wonderful experience to reconnect with nature snd its beauty

Nature's Valley Beach
Our favorite beach out of many visited along The Garden Route! So cool that you can sit at the lagoon, watch the kids play in shallow/safe water, and still hear the ocean behind you. Great for a swim in the lagoon, and stroll along the sea. Isolated and quiet. A must see!

Nature's Valley Beach
Stunning beach that just goes on and on. Either park by the lagoon (the sand can get very hot, we walk along the lagoon to the beach) or the shop/pub side at the end of St Michael and take a walk on the path through the fynbos. The ocean is cold but swimable on a hot day. The lagoon is fantastic for small children and water activities. On the shop side there is a walk to the salt river and private pebble beach. You can also do this walk from the top side if you park on the R102 (heading to the crags not bloukrans) just remember you have to walk back up which is a tough walk. We often go in two cars, drop a car at the shop and then drive back up and do the walk down.

Nature's Valley Beach
Nature's Valley has a beautiful Blue Flag Status beach. Well kept, long white sandy beach, with various paths leading over the dune to town. There are not a lot of toilets along the beach, so best to make sure where the closest one is.The beach is also divided into 3 zones for environmental reasons:1) dogs free to roam;2) dogs on a lease;3) no dogs. These sections are marked with signs at each path to the beach.

Nature's Valley Beach
Gorgeous beach and perfect spot to take the dogs and kids as there is also a lagoon that is water without the currents. Highly recommend.

Nature's Valley Beach
An achingly beautiful piece of coastline with next to no people on it. There are a number of trails you can explore, as well as a lake to enjoy. Absolutely worth the drive which is in itself quite picturesque. Note, take everything you need with you, there are no stores.

Nature's Valley Beach
One of the best beaches around. Stretches from the estuary through to waves crashing on rocks on the far end with calmer areas between. Kids loved it.

Nature's Valley Beach
The most pristine get-away destination you could wish for. Sandy beach, rocky shores, lagoon, a hiking paradise, and more. Our favourite destination for more than 60 years. Hike to the Salt River estuary via Coastal Milkwood Forest, or the rocky shoreline. Hear (and see) the resident Fish eagles and stop to admire Pebble Beach. Experience it for yourself!
