Petworld XXL N1 City

The place is clean and tidy. The floor staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. However, I encountered the lady at the till (pictured) who was absolutely rude and had a terrible attitude. This left a bitter taste in my mouth. I addressed the manager on duty (Melissa) who said that she would address this with the head office. It just takes one bad apple in a company to give the entire place a bad name.

Amazing customer service received from this store. However.... thank you to Lee-Ann that served me and told me all bout the rats I got. Lee-Ann you know what? .. you are amazing. Thanks to all of you keep up the good work.

Very pricey. The janitor also seemed to be quite rude to the poor Cockatoo for dirtying his cage soon after she'd cleaned it out. I would also have appreciated it if there were more staff members on the floor to answer questions (I ended up having to ask the cashier).Good variety of pet accessories, cages and food, though.

My two dogs were groomed yesterday and they both look and feel good. The groomers did exactly as requested and definitely made sure they looked perfect. The bows are such a cute touch.The cost was affordable and I was lucky enough to receive a discount. I will definitely be back. Thank you Petworld.

Be sure to check your receipt before you leave the store. R480 added to my receipt for something I didnt even buy as they scanned the wrong item at their messy counters that had so many items around mine. Im so glad I checked my receipt as I usually dont. Had to drive all the way to N1 the next day to get my money back and yet they still had the decency to ask me if I want the money on a gift card. They still charged me R45 for the product but no compensation for the inconvenience. Whats the point of the security checking my receipt since he clearly missed it

Great place with some really good items. Would give it a 5 star if they had trolleys, as carrying a lot of items and heavy items without one is painful

Lovely friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to assist with a smile. The shop is well stocked too. Just find them a bit pricey compared to other pet stores.

I took my dog for grooming to your N1store. That evening, we noticed he was bleeding and has wounds on his neck where they pulled him with the choking chain and on his face where his muzzle fits, the groomer must have shaken or pulled him so hard to inflict this injury. His whole face was swollen and we had to take him to the vet for treatment as a result of this. My dog has not been himself since this experience. He is not eating and he won't allow me to touch him. I am very upset. This dog is like a child to me and my heart is broken. When I spoke with the manager, she said they will review the camera footage and give me feedback. I had to call her back to follow up and she reported that there was nothing on the footage. I feel this is not true. I am still waiting for a follow up call from pet world N1.I do not recommend pet world n1 for grooming your dog and I will never go there again.

I am a shrimp hobbyist and every not and then I would like to collect some shrimp from various stores across the cape.Some people might well know me from my YouTube channel as I have over 600,000 subscribers and I specialize in all things Aquatic mainly fresh water and Saltwater shrimp.I was disgusted to see all sorts of dead Fish in the tanks at Petworld N1 City I counted 7 tanks with over 13 dead fish, And as a Shrimp hobbyist The different species of Shrimp were all mixed up together, anyone who deals with shrimp know this is not a good thing, however the one part that stood out to me was the pricing of the shrimp, as I am fully aware of who supplies petworld with their livestock and what their cost price is, it is utterly disgusting, Dead fish, Mixed shrimp and insane pricing.I will henceforth be doing a review video on my Youtube channel to outline the carelessness from Petworld and the way they treat their aquatic department.

Went to Petworld a few days ago and had a bunch of questions seeing as I have never kept any reptile as a pet and spoke to Jarryd one of the staff members there who not only answered every question I had, but gave me information about the answers to my questions and had amazing customer service. I could hear the passion he has for those animals in his voice. Still have not purchased a reptile, however that's due to my own indecisiveness and Jarryd definitely helped me narrow it down, I will be back :D
