Apparently not even the great brand of Discovery means anything in this country; genuinely don't know what I am paying a Discovery premium for if they are so incompetent that for 3 weeks they cannot provide feedback. According to Carworld in Sandton where they sent my car, Carworld has been waiting 3 weeks for feedback on a compression test. Carworld themselves told me that the issue is with the insurer so here I am, three calls later and no resolution.Now my car hire has expired and I am stranded all because it seems that their specialists" are too poorly trained to even know how to handle this or how to resolve it."

Would be ZERO stars if there was and option. We have been clients of Discovery for 14 years. Worst experience after a break in and claim. No feedback form consultant, team leader, and management. We are being ignored, no reply on questions. Not sure if it is the Company culture, or mere individuals personal actions, but the service and lack of respect is shocking. Please finalise our claim so we can move on!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received. I submitted a straightforward claim 2 months ago, and the claim is still not sorted. The assigned agent, Richard Ndlovu, never returns calls and does not communicate at all. When you ask to escalate to a manager, suddenly, there is no single manager available. You are put on hold for over half an hour and then given the run around. On my last call, I was eventually put through a team leader called Kedibone, who did not help either.

Disgusting service - Car insurance - submitted a claim , get passed about from pillar to post, nobody accepts responsibility for anything - keep you hanging on the line then you get cut off and they cant be bothered to call back. No personal designated person to assist me from start to finish.

Not impressed with their service from day 1. Joined 28/4/2023 and they promised to do the cancellation with my previous insurance - only received the cancellation letter that I needed to sign 3/5/2023, the day after my previous insurance's debit order is effective.Pathetic service!

Discovery insure was the worst mistake I made. Our claim was approved 50days ago and the Discovery provider cannot fit 4 wheels since. I know not all the blame could be placed on Discovery but the fact that their consultants and managers are less helpful than speaking to my living room wall. Just for a little context they do not responded on emails, and one manager even told me I should move insurers and I can do so immediately after getting my vehicle. I cannot pick up my vehicle and do the repairs and they are clearly incapable of fitting 4 wheels. Now I can only wait and hoop it gets done within the next year.

In 2022 I logged a claim for electrical damage due to loadshedding for my fridge playstation and smeg kettle. As per my previous post the discovery insure so called expert accessor came out and said it was wear and tear.Fast forward 2023 the send a second accessor out as I've escalated it to the Ombudsman and guess what both accessors from two separate companies found the board sensors and fan burnt.Now that resolves that I must now pay R2500 excess to have the fridge repaired. But with only a 3 month warranty which I refused because then after 3 months and something is wrong I'm in a problem again.I have still not heard back from Discovery after I refused I've had to replace my Playstation and Kettle out of my own pocket.The people who handle your claims never respond on first email.I'm pretty sure there are alot more out there that have experienced this with Discovery Insure. I am now taking this to the media Carte Blanche etc as I pay insurance for a reason if they can't repair it with a reasonable warranty they must replace it. Who will compensate me for my Playstation and Kettle?Once I take it to the media I believe more people will come forward and Discovery will have yet another lawsuit to deal with but this time they cannot escape facts.

THIS IS HOW DISCOVERY INSURE WILL TREAT YOU, THEY HAVE 3 MONTHS STATEMENTS OF MY WATER BILL, AND still waiting for this company to sort out the water bill for the burst geyser ? why should my tenants pay it..Do not use this company they will not honour your claim !!!@New geyser was installed by appointed plumber this burst overnight 2 inches of water throughout the house, discovery insure decided the responsibility must be the plumber which left me with the responsibility of dealing with the plumber and what he should be doing..I would not recommend this company..discovery insure feels its within their rights to pass the buck to the plumbet wow what a disgrace .also we paid for many years without any claims this is the treatment you get..
