Waited an hour for dinner, which was almost acceptable - IF value for money applied (restaurant wasn't really THAT busy)!I ordered chicken schnitzel and received a tasteless, dried out, over fried schnitzel. Was horrified when the bill arrived to discover that I was billed for a double (or tripple) portion- R195.00!!!I did have 2 pieces on my plate (which were all left for the domestics where we stayed) BUT I didn't order this portion.

Stunning food, lovely atmosphere and creamy thick Milkshakes :) Just wish they could butter the hamburger buns, otherwise really worthwhile.

Sat outside, but with it being winter, it was enclosed and we missed out on enjoying the ambience of Greyton. Appears to be a venue for Live music, so would be nice to come and visit then.

Friendly staff and great food! On Saturdays, there is live music which can be a bit noisy but it is a complete vibe! I ordered the nachos which was fantastic! My partner ordered the Dianne burger which is definitely a bestseller. 1854 is a must visit if you are in Greyton
