Lyceum College

In my third and final year 2021 the college changed the syllabus in September. They instituted a second compulsory assignment on all learners and if you did not do this assignment you cannot write the October exams. With such a drastic change to the academic year so late in the year you would think that they would communicate this change effectively. They did not and I missed the assignments. By the time I found the notice it was already closed as I was preparingfor the October examinations. I tried my best to appeal as I'm a fully paid up student and my cries fell on deaf ears. Eventually a senior lecturer contacted me and told me that I cannot write the exams due to the incomplete second compulsory assignments. I conceded the loss not only academically but also financially. 21k to be exact. Now when I try to contact the college to re register there is absolutely no correspondence or communication. Nobody is getting back to me. How do I salvage my diploma. This is truly the worst college in South Africa

We are going on 8 months now with a refund of R1568.00 due back to me as a student applied 1st April 2022 and for months now I am being ignored by Lebo and the finance team on my refund. I have been retrenched and urgently required my refund back. Lyceum think its a joke to withhold over charging a student on there account and then refunding the US.Student number 150101Desired outcome: Refund my overcharge

Good dayI am very disappointed in Lyceum,its been three months now since i applied for refund at braamfontein branch.I have been to the branch for like 3 times and been taken from pillar to post,i have been sending emails and calling the office until i insisted on seeing the manager 3 weeks ago and was promised to receive the money on the 6th of June,i'm still waiting.Very bad service!

Don't ever consider studying at Lyceum!! Worst student service ever!! I am in my 2nd year. My 1st and 2nd year's exemptions was not loaded by my ever changing student advisor. I could not get bursary from my employer for 1st and 2nd year because of that. They never answer phones, dont respond on emails. if the do, it's usually months tooo late. This morning again , I have been phoning for more than an hour, completing online feedback forms to get a phone call!! my exemption was again not loaded and i have sent the exemption approval letter to Nafisa Saleh, Bobby Senegal, Chanell Vivian, Pearl Mashabane and Siphiwe Mbele. I have spoken to all of them, nobody can assist me!! They say they have not received my email, then I forward it to them again with the trailing email so they can see the mail went to them previously, their response then, I do not work with that!! But I was referred to them by student advisors!! Worst worst service ever!!! i regret studying with them....but will finish because I am not a quitter and I will sort out my studies with them.I don't want to give any stars but I have to click a star in order to post!!

Poor service, no one is going to assist you but they want fees to be paid for bad service. No communication, you phone and send emails until you get tired. I wouldn't recommend this college

I enrolled here for an additional degree to complement my degree with UNISA, based on my degree at UNISA I was initially granted exemption for a number of modules. Based on the direction of a Senior Lyceum representative, I chose my modules accordingly. After completion of these modules, I sent an enquiry as to my graduation when this same representative denied my graduation due to modules I still needed. He neglected to recall his own direction and over and above this I paid for exemption for a module which I had in fact completed and the academic department had not even recorded the exemptions for which I had paid. This college unfortunately changes their requirements on a yearly basis, with such extravagantly high fees, I cannot help but wonder if they make these mistakes" or provide misleading direction

I can only give them 1 star because there is no zero. What a place to ruin your life. You register and pay deposit and after a while you hear that you are not registered and you are not even on the list but you paid. This school is a shame to our Country

After being promised my refund for R3500 deposit paid in January, the college is ignoring my communication.Frustrating institution I'd ever dealt with.

Run away...they have not refunded me till today and they will ignore you after taking your money.

Worst service ever! They do not communicate with the students and you will never see your deposit! Been waiting months for my deposit
