Turffontein Racecourse

The glory days of turffontein are long gone or perhaps what's needed is an injection of funds. Dirty forks, blunt knives, under cooked potatoes, tasteless meat and a very poor variety of food.In this day and age who does not offer fruit juice as a drinks option for breakfast with muffins? Not to mention not being enough food for everyone.Everything about this day was just terrible. The conference venue has not been updated just like the bathrooms. It still very outdated, much needs to be done.Careful thought needs to be considered before deciding to use this venue.To be honest if it was not for the horses, then there would be nothing worth while or appealing to this place.Think long and hard before considering and really look at other options within your budget.

What a clean and beautiful establishment! The buffet at the Elevation Room was delicious and the gardens were bursting with colorful flowers.

Loved every moment of it. I'll be bringing my family to experience the fun time I had.

good experience with lots of sitting area great crowd and friendly environment. I loved the fact that that ther is lawn which is properly taken care of, you can sit with your friends and family and they also have safe and secure parking, another thing I liked is that police is always available at the entrance.

A jewel of South Joburg and a relaxing, friendly space to get out of city life.

Was here for a meeting in one of their conference rooms. Please bear in mind that this is also a historic venue, more than a century old. The diningrooms overlook the racecourse. Great views. The food is OK. The service is standard.

A well organized event, lots of police nd safety security officers onsite.
