Was not happy with the level of service.Hardly gave feedback if we did not phone for updates.Had to deal with the manager when we did not get service from the clerk/ eployee allocated to the estate.Took 16 months to finalize an estate with no assests , only 1 investment and shares.Would not recommend the oldest law firm in South Africa.Expected much better service from a company that is 104 years old.Not sure why ABSA keep referring them to clients.

I found them to be unprofessional and extremely inconsistent in their level of service with the sale of our house. Once they are paid don’t expect them to respond to queries such as outstanding rates and taxes issues. I could never recommend them in good conscience.

One star because Google won't let me post with no stars. Worst experience ever. Something that's supposed to take 5 days will take months. All it takes is to REPLY to ONE email. Don't get me started on the arrogance.

My father passed away in 22 October 2017. His testament specified that that ABSA to be the executor and ABSA appointed Snyman de Jager attorneys. To date it has been 5.5 years and nothing has been finalised. Every time I have called, I have been promised that they are working with it and it is in the final registration phase. This is the worst service I’ve ever experience and not what a person would expect from bank like ABSA or any registered branch of attorneys. I would recommend that ABSA and Snyman de Jager not be used as an executor.Clearly the attorneys and/or ABSA are incompetent in handling deceased estates.

I wouldn't even give a star, it's almost 2 years, struggle to get feedback, can I ask absa to appoint a new executive? The way they keep stalling there's going to be nothing left of the house cause now they break in and cause damage to the property, its heartbreaking cause I grew up in that house.
