The Calitz
The lady of this guesthouse met us as we were arriving late the friday. It was a splendid encounter. The rooms were clean and beautiful. Overall a very nice stay, we already planning to go back.

Loved our stay! Angela helped us with an overnight on short term! Stunning hospitality and very friendly! The family room had heated blankets and a double bathroom! The space is clean, well equipped with it's own kitchenette with a small fridge and kettle! The unit is super for 3/4 friends or a family! If you are passing through Calitzdorp you have to stay here! Thanks Angela! Can't wait to visit and stay at The Calitz again!

Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped en-suite room with charming touches. Excellent aircon in a heat wave. Great outdoor facilities. Angela is a delightful host. Outstanding value.

Colleen the host is incredibly friendly. Made us feel welcome immediately. Made great suggestions of nearby places of interest to visit.Loved the massive room with modern finishes and comfortable bed.Must stay more than 1 night as there is so much to see and do there.Can't wait to go back and stay longer at this gem.

I wasn’t sold on the idea of a communal kitchen and braai area but this little gem changed my mind. Thank you to the host who was so friendly and helpful. The pool was a god sent in the heat we arrived in. The views of the mountains are breath taking. Cannot find fault with this beautiful little lodge the rooms are of a high standard the bed is amazing. We will be coming back and recommending it to all our family and friends

What an amazing Karoo stay. They just thought of everything! Solar power, full WiFi, a lovely splash pool and great coffee in the room

Warm wellcome on arrival,from owner Angela! Real stunning place to stay,comfortable beds,clean ,very neat tidy rooms. Lovely entertainmet area,braai facility and a pool to cool of in. Truely enjoyed my stay there.

Colleen the owner was very friendly, warm and welcoming. A host 1000...we enjoyed the personel touches to the room, very unique. Rooms are big, cleanand all you need to stay over. Secure parking. Very pleasany indeed.
