The interior decoration here is something that women should like. Emotional props and white-collar wall decoration are calm. The carefully crafted decorations are also impressive. We tested the wine, and someone else bought the gift boxed wine.

Unfortunately The Country Kitchen did not live up to expectations. Any other option in Franschhoek is a better option.Poor food and poor management staff could not be vindicated by the excellent wait staff.Prawn pasta had 7 shrimp that were microscopic and over fried and tasteless.A lovely setting but overall it has many better alternatives in Franschhoek.

Surprisingly family friendly place. Great playground and nice green space below the dining area for kids to run around. The general manager’s children’s even joined our kids to run around and play for a while which was a fun experience for them.Food and service were great. Setting was spectacular as well. It was quiet on the weeknight we went. Recommend for dinner (or tasting) if in the area.

Great wine tasting. Great experience. The entire staff team was beyond knowledge and kind. One of our fav spot in the region. Highly recommend their tasting + food also on point!

We had lunch at this restaurant while exploring Franschoek on the tram's blue line. Although we were a big party and had not made a booking we were accommodated. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, and our server was very knowledgeable about the perfect wine pairings for each of our dishes. I would recommend booking in advance just in case you're not as lucky as we were in terms of space at the restaurant. All in all, it was a great experience.

The Country Kitchen offers a delicious lunch and a great wine selection in a beautiful setting! There is something on the menu for everyone, but definitely try the chickpea taquitos! Also, big shoutout to our waitress Lydia! She was incredibly kind and attentive, and played a huge part in making our experience great!

Loved it here! Beautiful setting, with a nice playground for the kids. Service was great, as they offered to serve us at the table next to the playground.Beautiful gardens, and nice food.
