Went in for a consult for my wisdoms last year. She told me I needed 11 fillings and it would come to around R14 000. I was shocked because my teeth are generally in good health. Thank God I didn't go through with it. Went to an intercare this year and was told my teeth are in excellent condition and just my wisdoms needed to be addressed. She also tried to promote a kind of spiritual workshop. Be cautious to what you agree.

I know I was in good hands when I was a patient of Dr Jay and Dr Anita Khoosal.  They are always gentle and caring.I had an appointment with Dr Jay for a crown replacement. On the day there was as issue with their machine, however, Dr Jay made arrangements with another practice nearby to assist and had the crown prepared and inserted. I have been a patient of theirs for 30 odd years. We have recently relocated and I am sad that I won't be able to use their services again. Thank you Dr Jay and Dr Anita for always caring.

I am extremely afraid of the dentist and haven’t been in years. Dr Anita was so comforting and uplifting, I have never experienced such amazing service in my entire life. She made sure you check in on me every 30 seconds throughout the procedure to make sure I was okay and focusing on my breathing. I was also given the most helpful advice on oral hygiene and how to take care of my teeth from here on out. I 100% recommend and can’t wait to go back for my next check up.

Recently I took my ten year old daughter to Smiles Family Dental Practice for a dental check up and teeth cleaning. She saw Dr. Jay and the experience was out of this world. From the booking of the appointment through to the service delivery was a professional encounter. Dr. Jay is a child friendly dentist who is gentle, kind and constantly reassuring. He has a very pleasant and welcoming demeanor and puts a smile on your face even before he starts the procedure. His examination was thorough and the procedure was pain free. The entire practice is filled smiles with smiles coming from the receptionist, cleaning staff and dental surgeons. It is my delight to recommend anyone who desires a top class dental experience with loads of smiles. You're guaranteed to leave the practice smiling.

Both Dr Anita and Dr Jay are exceptional dentists. My last few appointments were with Dr Anita and I've come to know her as a kind, caring and compassionate person. Her gentle demeanour (and playlist requests) takes the anxiety out of dental care, and the work she does is nothing short of brilliant.The whole team at Smiles is capable, friendly and dedicated to their patients. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Dr Jay always makes a plan to help and has never let me down. Appointments are always friendly professional and mostly pain free. On that note my recovery has always been super quick and pain free. Dr Jay will always be my and my families go to guy!

Exceptional customer service from reception through to consultation with Dr. Anita. It was my 4 year old daughter’s first visit to the dentist and it was such a positive experience for her. She was totally at ease throughout. We also received very good tips on dental hygiene.

Both Dr's Anita and Jay Khoosal are incredible dentists.They take their time to explain procedures, are kind and gentle and truely invested in giving the best possible treatment.A stunning personal touch is that Dr Anita plays music of her patient's choice during a procedure.My daughter is on the spectrum and was totally calm and comfortable during her rootcanal treatment.All the staff have the most beautiful smiles inside and out and are so warm and welcoming.I am so grateful that we found them and for their heartfelt care and utmost professionalism.I highly recommend them, especially for someone who might find going to the dentist a bit daunting and for special needs kids.

Dr Jay is an amazing human. Really puts your mind at ease, and has an awesome bedside manner. Would definitely recommend!!
