After a year of doing my nails with Kirby I decided to support them by doing my highlights. Received confirmation from Stylist that she could do the colour I requested. I booked my appointment. Unfortunately my appointment was delayed 30 minutes, there was no COVID prevention protocols like my details wasn’t taken down, my temperature not taken or hand sanitizer given. I confirmed once again with stylist about the tones of my highlights and she started at 10.30. Around 1.30pm as she was drying off the highlights I told her that I was unhappy with the tones and it was not like the picture we had agreed with. She started making excuses like I need two sittings and taking my hair health into consideration she can’t get it to that colour. I was lied to by her and there was never any mention of these excuses prior to booking or when starting my colour. Only when I mentioned my unhappiness did she bother to say anything about her shoddy application. I told Kirby I was unhappy and they discussed and tried to add another colour to lighten but after a few more hours of sitting in their awful chairs I was disgusted by the end results. I left the Salon at 4pm, with my highlights looking like a dirty brownish blonde (totally not like the pic) and I made it clear that I was unhappy however they still charged me the full price and Kirby presented me with a Gel overlay voucher( which I will not be using) to make up for the atrocious service I received. The stylist had the audacity to tell me to come back in three months to do more highlights. They have lost a client and should even be reported for their lack of covid protocols(masks not worn by stylist at basin and too many clients in that small area etc) I am sad to say this Salon is very primitive( lack of professional staff, lack of equipment like climazones, no hot water to wash hair or comfortable chairs.) they seem to only want to make a quick buck as opposed to offering quality service and retain loyal clients. After posting a review on Facebook, two of the owners friends started attacking my character and personality and mocking me, due to my review!

The staff are very friendly and all smiles the only problem I had was when I had my gel nails applied they started to chip the very next day and I am very careful with working with my hands by wearing gloves and being gentle and after a week I decided to take it off completely because most of my gel nails and chipped off halfway and just didn’t look nice anymore. The kind lady that did do my nails became overbooked while I was doing my nails and had clients coming in while she was doing my nails. Friendly people just not quality stuff and overbooking is a problem.

Friendly people. Excellent service. Great resluts. You just feel as if its your home your doing your hair in. They always have smiles and jokes to tell. Best hair salon I've ever visited and tend to stay here forever.

I made an inquiry for an appointment for full color on a Wednesday. The appointment was set for that coming Saturday morning. I said in my inquiry for an appointment that I wanted strawberry blonde color.Saturday morning I arrived promptly at 9 as arranged for my appointment. I showed them the color I wanted which I had mentioned in my inquiry, strawberry blonde. The hairdresser told me they didn't have my color, nor did they know about my appointment before Friday evening. They could not do my hair.Firstly, I made my appointment well ahead of time in order for them to prepare what they needed to. I did mention the color that I wanted on my hair so that they knew what I wanted and how to treat me in the salon.Kuty Kurl Salon is completely unprofessional. I will not be doing any business there again.

Quite possibly the best place I've ever done my nails and hair. Friendly staff and great service. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Avoid! Disappointing customer service experience ever!Finalized my appointment a week prior and it was set to 09h00 the Saturday morning. I drove all the way from Plattekloof for my appointment to be informed as I arrived that they don't have the bleach in stock and that I should reschedule my appointment otherwise it would be a rush once the bleach arrives.They could have infromed me prior to me driving all the way.Avoid!

My niece does her hair here and they do an excellent job. I would advise anyone here

Personally I would never visit this salon ever again , I made an appointment on Thursday for Saturday at 1. A person obviously makes an appointment because you have other things to do aswell. Got to my appointment half an hour earlier and I was told I'm so early moving along sitting there till 1 and then I get told that the stylist has to much bookings for 1pm which is not my problem at all.20 minutes later still waiting and a reminder I went there for a botox and the least they could've done was apply my botox while I wait .I then got a call from a other appointment made asking what time I'll be there exactly then I cancelled my appointment at the salon and left but not once did the owner or management phone to apologize and it's so disgusting would not recommend to anyone who wants a professional and on time experience.

Very friendly staff that makes you feel as family. My one stop place for my hair and nails. Kids friendly and they have a range of beauty styles available. Very intimate and professional.
