I have been here twice. Each time was an enjoyable experience. The service provided was done precisely the way I wanted. The staff was also friendly and attentive.

Terrible Service by this store. They are rude and disgusting towards clients that come into their store. Paid for an order and was told to collect at 3pm. Got to the store and nothing was prepared for my order and I was told to go home and come back in the morning by the so called manager Sagren. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Staff are rude and not helpful at all to their clients

I needed pine PAR in various lengths, cut accurately down to millimeter for a small DIY project. I normally go to Builders but there is a much beter selection available here. And the price is significantly lower. After I paid the wood was cut to size by the machinist and it was done perfectly. I'm really impressed with accuracy. Its just a pity the website does not do the store justice. It will help consumers a lot to see what wood is in store, what dimensions is available and how much it costs.

Very friendly and helpful staff, Lucas was able to understand all the requirements I had for my wood to be cut in order to make a speaker cabinet.The work was fast, efficient and very accurate and neat.

As I walked in someone said “you look lost”. I was. I’m normally one for a more solid material instead of compressed cellulose. This was new territory for me.The man pointed me in the direction of Lucas who knew exactly what I needed from the timber to the fasteners and had my requirements ready within 15 minutes.My visit to Timbercity was made as easy as it gets by the staff. For your household timber requirements I highly recommend them.

Had called Pinetown branch (spoke to Siya) much earlier for a quote which he indicated will take about an hour to calculate and was supposed to have returned my call. He hadn’t done either. As I needed the material, I proceeded to drive to the branch. Entered store, which was absolutely deserted, to encounter cold and unfriendly staff. Siya, who was perched at desk in a corner, seeing me enter, avoided me. I approached him , introduced myself and politely asked about the quote. Was told that it was crazy busy and that he had forgotten. He then proceeded in an unfriendly and visibly impatient manner to complete quote (took about 15mins vs 1hr telephonic). He almost looked upset that he had to assist and had to be at work. This franchise branch clearly does not value customers and has no drive towards courteous customer service. Will never patronize here again.
