We just got married here and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful inside area, outside garden area and beautiful views. It was our dream venue and we were in love with it. Tae-Marie the manager, is amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. Co-ordinated the wedding with such professionalism and grace! Can not thank you enough!

We had our wedding at the Orchid House. From our first visit to our last meeting it was such a smooth and lovely experience. Gizelle assisted us and she was amazing! She made the experience one to remember with her warm and positive attitude. She helped us with whatever we needed along the way. We were supposed to have a garden ceremony but it rained so hard we had it inside, it was just as beautiful and she made sure the day went on with no hiccups. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to assist us and the guests in the rain. The food was absolutely delicious and the guests thoroughly enjoyed it. As the bride and groom on this stressful day we did not worry about anything as everything was taken care off. I highly recommend this as a wedding venue as it is so beautiful and offers an amazing experience for a bride and groom.

Jade and the team at Collisheen are absolutely incredible. Ryan and I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day. The venue, the food, the service everything was top notch. Thanks to the whole team for pulling off a day we will ALWAYS remember.

Wow, we had our wedding at Collisheen Estate, The Orchid House on 18.08.18. From the very beginning when we searched for a venue, the website was super helpful and concise with exactly what you are looking for on the brochure, from prices to menu to extra's to decor to recommended service providers, they had it all (without having to speak to anyone yet). By then, you could see that they knew what they were doing. I then emailed the venue and immediately had a response from both Jade and Amanda, Jade was the venue coordinator for the Orchid House and eased us into the entire process. She was available for every single crazy question and provided sound advice and ideas for our big day, she knew exactly how to make it perfect. Before the wedding day, they provided me with on point information as to what has been arranged, where things will be, how things will run on the day, all to my requirements as well. We then arrived at the venue and from the start to the end, Jade was there, ALL my guests commented on how efficient she was and how efficient and friendly Collisheen's staff were, I had a menu set to my requirements, the food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it, the venue/bathrooms were clean and neat, the chapel was gorgeous, the rooms were immaculate, the garden was decorated beautifully, the orchid house was beyond gorgeous. There is absolutely nothing I would change in terms of service and delivery. Thank you for making our day so so beautiful and memorable, I would recommend you guys over and over again! PS. This has got to be one of the best wedding venues in KZN. We planned our wedding whilst residing in Johannesburg with ease due to the professionalism and efficiency of Gizelle. Gizelle's team which includes her right hand man Phumlani ensured that everything went smoothly on our special day. The venue has a nice open feel to it as you can make use of the chapel, garden and The Boma. The meals prepared on the day deserve a Michelin star according to my wedding guests. Outstanding service from the staff looking after the bar, canapés and overseeing the buffet.Highly recommend.

Our wedding at Collisheen Estate Orchid House was made so incredibly perfect by the efforts of Tae-Marie and the incredible staff. We felt immensely taken care of. On a day that can be fast paced and typically stressful, we were able to relax and enjoy it as much as our guests did. The venue is naturally beautiful, the chapel is charming and romantic and the food is something that our guests still talk about. Our small intimate Christmas wedding was something we will never forget. Thank you endlessly

Our wedding was held at the Boma on 08 April 2023 and we are still receiving the most wonderful feedback from guests on their experience. A huge thank you to Gizelle, Phumlani and the rest of the team on the highest level of professionalism since the very beginning of our wedding planning journey. Gizelle treated us like family from the onset and our guests have highlighted the same experience to us. Both Gizelle and Phumlani could not have assisted us any better than they did with smiles on their faces and a calm demeanor. They were proactive and went the extra mile for us and our guests. Gizelle, you are every bride's dream function coordinator, we couldn't have asked for anyone better and you made our experience as a couple such a pleasant one. Thank you for everything! The best wedding venue I have ever seen. It was such an honor to have our wedding at the orchid house. The staff was so friendly and eager to help! Made the experience so much more delightful. And a BIG thank you to Tae-Marie. We loved every second. The food was so amazing too. Choose the Collisheen Estate as your wedding venue, you will not be disappointed ! :)

Collisheen's Boma venue hosted our Western style wedding with 140 guests. We had a customised package with a harvest table starter, plated mains and buffet dessert.To say the planning and service was phenomenal would be an understatement.Owner, Wayne helped us navigate the packages to reach the option we were after to accommodate our guests.Events manager and on the day coordinator, Gizelle listened and suggested ways to make each and every idea come to life and ensured there was clear communication between us. The details were conveyed seamlessless to an incredibly efficient set up team managed by Phumlani.The service on the night of the wedding was outstanding.The team showed professionalism and hard work to make our wedding reception nothing but pure bliss and and incredible success. We had so many compliments on how smoothly everything ran. Gizelle worked closely with the MC to keep us to time whilst navigating 140 plated mains.The venue itself is beautiful, the lighting package a touch of draping was all it needed. The set up received many compliments from our guests.The food was incredible - the giant lamb shanks and decadant brownies will be infamous!An incredible venue, which although comes in at a higher price point was exceptional value and one I would recommend for weddings or special occasions.
