Very relaxing atmosphere if you need a few hours out alone, with family or friends, thinking of having a function, live entertainment, braai facilities, and playground to keep the kids busy.. even for a sit-down lunch to be served.. do a table booking.. and the list goes on.It's definitely worth a go visit and experience

NOT RECOMMENDED! Eating is NOT OK but you can drink! Very slow kitchen turnaround! Glasses were filthy with lip and finger marks! 5 of us waited 1 hour 15 minutes for our lunch to arrive. Terrible table setups. Mens toilets has no lights and windows. Only the waitress was on average par with polite service. Management is a stick until I told them we leaving in 5 minutes if the food were not arriving. Took 1 hour 15 minutes. One can drive to Skilpadveli or Stellies or Kraaifontien KFC to get a descent meal with that time. Don't eat here. We will never return!

Very crouded. Bar took quite a while to serve the drink. Great if you going with a group.Not sure how the food is but does not look like a place you would get restaurant quality food.Other than that I think it is a great place for birthdays. And very kid friendly

We celebrated my daughter's birthday today and what an awesome place to be at. Just the way we like things, intimate and a clam atmosphere. No loud music or noise. The food was absolutely divine

It's a great place. They added on some fairly more space and an decent area for kids to host their birthdays. Great way to get a piece of that blooming market. Food is good, staff sometimes a little overwhelmed when it gets busy. The only down side is had - the play area for the kids are not maintained. It's VERY dirty, to the point where I could not let my kids play before cleaning it myself. There is a lady, at the entrance changing kids R30 to play. The least she could have done while waiting during the morning was clean the play area and equipments.Yet, she just sat there since her arrival, during breakfast while no kids have yet arrived. I will be back, as I am sure this issue will be addressed. If not, they will stand to lose their spot for kids parties - for good.

The Palms is a great family place. Nice, green, open grass for the kids to play as well as a little pool for them to wade/swim in for the day. It costs R30 for the kids to have access to the pool all day. The park is well kept and there is no danger of the kids getting hurt. The indoor play area looks like huge fun too. The adults have the undercover bar/restaurant area with live entertainment as well as the grassy area where you can order yourself and have some of the best food and drink. All in all... The Palms is a vibe". A good place to chill and be assured that the kids will be safe while you have a good time as well. I have been back numerous times with different people and I will surely be back for more."

Palms. In the week it is quieter and the service can keep up, and there are tables. On a good weather weekend its busy and service tends to suffer. Booked tables for 25pax when we arrived onle 3x 6 seaters which for big people really only seats 4. they rectofied after we asked to see manager, should not be necessary. Service for the event was er a bit slow. food arrived in drips and drabs with about 30min from the first ppl getting food to the last. scaling is an issue, If youre going to have so many seats and get so many people you need to scale staff accordingly. The food was good tasty but keep an eye on the bill.

Value-priced fare and portions offered in a large venue capable of hosting huge volumes of people. Efficient, friendly service and tasty food, but not really the place for a leafy green salad. Garlic rolls are stuffed with gooey cheese and minced garlic and the salad was loaded with grilled chicken.

Service was shocking. Sat there for 30mins and not one person served me. All the staff just walk past you. I double checked the trading hours and I was definitely there at the right time. When I left I asked the old lady about the service it seemed like such a issue that I just left. Definitely will not be returning.
