Well, it's hard to say enough about La Moor. We arrived in the early afternoon after a long day at Kruger and weren't quite sure where to eat. The owner of Pine Valley recommended La Moor. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the owner, Iggy, who couldn't have been more pleasant.The food was fabulous and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was very nicely laid out with different themed sitting areas, water fountains, and outside seating overlooking a stream.We didn't have a ride back to our hotel, so Iggy offered to drive us back, which was unbelievable. Thank you.What a wonderful experience.

I had my stay at La Moor country venue this past week and let me tell you what an experience :-) From the rooms to the food to the venue itself, The owners and the staff ( Iggy, Cathy, Clyne and Tento [ apologies for any incorrect spelling] ) were phenomenal, with Tento taking the prize , he assist with our complicated our orders, we were a waiters nightmare, however, he pushed through and saw to us with the best of his ability and he honestly made the experience wonderful for us <3 This small and unique venue in the middle of no-where became a home for me during my stay and the owners Iggy and Cathy made its so special for myself and my colleagues - I cannot recommend this place enough. ( even for a dinner - the food was out of this world )

For something just outside the busy rug of The West Rand Gauteng a peaceful place to have a meal or enjoy friends company beautiful garden setting natural stream running through it has definitely become a favorite of ours

Best fried hake I ever had, perfectly cooked. We were a party of 22 so the small kitchen took some strain. New staff still learning the ropes. We will begoing back soon.

Cathy and all the staff have been absolutely amazing! The rooms are very clean and updated. Everything you need is there and more.. especially when there is load shedding. I am beyond impressed and the breakfast was delicious with pretty view..well done guys..we loved it!

What a beautiful place. So relaxing and serene. The owners were extremely accommodating as well as everyone who works there. The food delicious as well. I truly wish I didnt have to leave.

Waitor had very little knowledge of the menu. Slow to take orders. Missed a guest altogether. Order when it eventually arrived was wrong . Beef Sharma for a vegetarian. Wrong sauces.Owner offered coffee all-round and gave the impression it was on the house for all the inconvenience. ....then charged.Really need to improve the service and food as venue is great. Staff and chef dismal. Need more trainning.

Food is good, prices are reasonable. Venue is terrific. The new owners (following on who has owned it for 22 years) have done an amazing job with the renovations. They have cleverly taken advantage of the river frontage and now one can sit out and dine or have drinks overlooking the river.Service was not fantastic, not terrible, but not fantastic. Sadly my friends and I were the only people there and there were time when we struggled to get attention.
