I was never given a contract. Work hours could never be set and stuck to so you never knew where you stood. Every morning the owner arrives at work in a mood and then finds faults to pick at. I worked there over a month and was asked to leave because the owner wanted a quote sent through from a non supplier at 7:45 in the morning. I had called before (over a week before) and gotten a verbal quote which I have to him for the client. He didn't act on it until the morning he suddenly wanted a written quote so that he could make payment by EFT. After calling them twice and I was even told that the lady I had gotten the verbal quote from before hadn't arrived at work yet; 8 was told it isn't good enough I should call the and call until I get the quote... Bearing in mind I called and he asked me straight after the call to call again and ask for the quote again and then again straight after told me to call and ask if they has sent it... Apparently this isn't good enough. I then left with a week's pay due and they never paid me.... Also they sit and smoke in the enclosed office the whole day - there are no windows!
