There hospitality is amazing and the venue is worth every cent, it's in a working farm but every1 gives you your privacy and redbeard and Rita are there if you need anything from toilet paper to firewood etc, we stayed in the old farm house and it was truly an experience, hiking trails are clearly marked and safe for kids, you might get the occasional snake but we never came across any!!A true gem and you will leave happy, crisp and refreshed ready to take on the world again

Absolutely beautiful location in the mountains. Waking up to the sounds of nature is pure joy. Feels really remote and isolated.

Die Ouhuis built in mid 1700's, original architecture but modernized appliances for convenience. Large steep, great views over Mountains. Walks, runs or MTB trails. A short gravel ride from Ashton Town

The best place to take a break from everything! Self catering but coffee , milk, sugar provided.We had an unit with a wet room and the other couple an unit with a bath. JUST Wow! So 2 km from town .

Wow! Lovely farm, SPOTLESS accommodation and friendly hosts. The very cold nights were made nice and toasty with electric blankets, extra blankets and of course, a big fire.

Such friendly lovely owners, best escape to total relaxation , peace and quiet star gazing is amazing , dip in the dam was refreshing

We stayed in Die Ou Huise over the long weekend. It was immaculate. Went mountain bike riding on the farm and followed a trail up the mountain. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay
