Popped in at this little restaurant for a late lunch over the weekend. Although a little pricey, the portion sizes are value for money!!The milkshakes were great and creamy! The pizzas were fresh and made in a wood fire over, the grilled hake was amazing!!All round a stunning meal and we will return!

My food (chicken calamari combo) was very good, but I had a miniature quarter chicken and six little calamari tubes on my plate for more than R150. Couldn't believe it. So tiny. It's not as if I ordered caviar.

Upon arrival, we were not greeted by anyone. We ended up going into the restaurant itself to look for someone to seat up to which we were also ignored. When we were finally acknowledged, we were basically told he is busy and to wait. Finally being seated, we were not given any menus for about 15 minutes and were expected to order right away. When the food came, after a long wait, it was cold. At the end of he meal when we wanted to settle the bill and leave, we had to track our waiter down and request the bill. I was given the card machine and he walked away. Not somewhere that I will return to in a hurry.

Absolutely love this place. Good vibe, good food! Very friendly staff. We ordered ribs, steak with prawns. It was so well prepared and tasted like heaven on earth.

Absolutely a disappointment. No supervision. Only workers attending to tables on their own time(only 3 tables). Served ribs. No serviettes. No finger bowl. Took food to wrong table.Crayfish samoozas was pilchards. Will definetely not recommend.

Cute restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating right on the main beach area. Wide selection of classic Portuguese style dishes with all the seafood options you can want. Also offers meat dishes for those that aren’t a fan of fish which is a nice balance since other restaurants dont offer much. Large selection of Spier (great Stellenbosch winery) options and all the classic beers.Loved the Kingklip in butter sauce with creamed spinach! Husband had the butter chicken and it had endless amounts of meat with a massive side of rice.Some folks brought their pets on the side seating but not sure if that’s 100 allowed.

What a wonderful discovery! A very nice variety of food on the menu with a wonderful Portuguese flavor.They are famous for their seafood dishes and also something called bubble bread" which is almost like a pizza.The portions are enormous and I couldn't finish my bubble bread. I still wanted to try their peppermint crisp tart dessert

The seafood was fresh and delicious. Plus the portions are generous.I was passing by the town after the Rocking the Daisies festival and couldn't have chosen a better restaurant to close out my weekend.The restaurant is facing the ocean, which add a great ambience.I had two starters, two main and a number of alcoholic beverages all for the price of R450pp.Great place.
