As for the women at the dispensary counter. Self entitled, judgemental, conceited, not helpful. We all stood in a queue for a very long time while the wheelchair bound elderly woman was completely ignored. Try a little harder with the compassion, girls.

Practising all Covid19 safety regulations. This is located at the entrance of the mall.There are dispensing sanitizing stations at the mall's entrance and at the entrance of the store itself. So during your shopping you would have clean your hand twice before! Love that.Social distancing in full effect.All the staff greet you at least twice as you walk around the store. Do greet back.The clinic is still operational. Have your flu shots, family planning, blood pressure etc, done at the sister's. The sister that assisted me was extremely thorough and professional.Wide variety of usual products.Pharmacy fully operational. You can call ahead for prescriptions, self-meds and clinic appointments.W.r.t the pharmacy; If they dont have stock, they sure do make a plan to assist locating an alternative option with partner stores. Dirk was my saving grace when this happened. Google the numbers. This usually saves my life.

A big shout-out to Dischem Pharmacy in West Coast Mall, Vredenburg!!!A week ago I felt terribly sick and being a diabetic with uncontrolled sugar, I knew I had to do something quick. My GP is in Velddrif and I knew I couldn't drive at the time. I didn't want to bother my GP or go to ER unnecessarily, so I took a chance and phoned the pharmacist at Dischem Pharmacy in Vredenburg, Dirk. I panicked and was frantic - but he was so patient, calmed me down and guided me on what to do.I was admitted for DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis), 2 days in ICU and still in hospital.During the past 7 days, Dirk and his team contacted me more than once just to check in on me, wishing me a speedy recovery. Where in the world do you still get this?This means the world to me and my husband.Dirk and his team REALLY CARE about their customers.
