My experience with the place was ok..My hot and cold water bills were reasonable for someone staying alone, and the is no load shedding.

Everything about this place is a scam. From water bills that reach over R1000 for a 1 bedroom to them charging R3000 to use clubhouse facilities that were not even completed by the time I moved in. There were so many promises like gyms and a track field yet these are no where to be seen. Everyone blames each other for this messy place and no one takes responsibility. I'm furious. They take advantage of tenants. If I could give a negative rating that would be so good. Maintenance issues take months to be completed or even answered. I've been living in an apartment that rains in like I'm living in a shack yet I pay a ridiculous amount. Everything is falling apart and breaking. With the low quality of building work done I will not be surprised if the buildings start to crash.

SECURITY WAS A JOKE2. THE NOISE LEVELS - ON A DAILY BASIS WAS A NIGHTMARE3. MANAGEMENT COULD NOT BE BOTHERED ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT MONEY4.WATER BILLS WERE EVEN HIGHER THAN RENT MOST MONTHS5. ADD YOUR WATER BILL TO YOUR RENT AND YOU MIGHT AS WELL LIVE IN A 5 STAR HOTEL with these rates SMHDO NOT LIVE HERE, DO NOT LIVE HERE, DO NOT LIVE HEREDon't think your experience will be any different, we have a whole WhatsApp group devoted to monthly discussions about getting petitions signed so that the water bills can be investigated - people who have been living there for plus 2 yrs are STILL COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME ISSUES.Yes, your housing situation may be desperate but trust me EVERYTHING and anything IS BETTER THAN iGrow Rentals at Lombardy Meander.

I’m giving it a 1 because there’s no 0.If your planning on moving here, don’t.Actually they do deserve a 1 because of the great and beautiful finishes in the apartments; however, it ends there. Management is sloppy, there’s been tons and tons of break-ins, stabbings, lack of maintenance, sloppy agents, sloppy securities!I don’t feel safe at all!Did I mention the high water bills due to a communal geyser, I’m talking about R4K monthly for a 2bed apartment type of rates! Unbelievable.

I am someone who has stayed at a lot of rentals over the years and I must say this has been my worst experience.The support from Lombardy Meander has been non existent from day one moving in, our calls and messages were just not answered by the agent Jade Pretorius.The upper management Byron Bleksley was just as unhelpful upon our exit.We found ourselves needing urgent accommodation and signed their very unfair lease, I wish we found something else. Be careful!The amount we had to pay to just leave was ridiculous and that wasn't enough they practically stole our deposit and are offering to give us 10% back of our deposit.Apparently we caused damages in 3 months worth 90% of our deposit but they cant provide proof. On our exit inspection these were not brought to our attention to dispute on site which every other agency does to my knowledge.They have sent a comprehensive report of before and after photos for everything except the damages that we apparently caused. The dispute we had on the lack of proof was completely ignored by multiple people in the company and the invoice just sent.If anyone has advise on how to approach this situation further please advise.

I should’ve checked the reviews first before moving in at Lombardy MeanderI stay in a 1 bedroom apartment alone and l work 5daus a week from 8-5 but when the water bills comes it will be costing R1000-R2000And when you call the impact they ignored you even the oGrow they are not doing anything about itI buy R300 electricity and will last 5weeks because l don’t use that muchThey lie about the club house it’s not workingThe bins get full and you’ll see worms on the ground

Currently what is happening at Lombardy Meander. Breaking and entering, theft and sky high waterbills. The management is aware and still chooses to be nonchalant. You won't feel safe due to security guards being incompetent and you will find yourself paying for ridiculous waterbills when you are not even there for a month. Empty promises and false advertising

If you want a lovely home with fair policies and people looking after you... Don't move in hereThey are hunters feeding on prey, people starting their lives or trying to make it better, avoid avoid avoid this place. They will disappoint you. They will rob you. They will take your money and leave you with a gasp on your face. I didn't listen to the reviews. Maybe you will... Don't move in hereIt's he'll. And when you move out. It's worse
