Planet Fitness - Heuweloord

A bit too full of late and Not enough parking. So workouts have become somewhat limited. Too many members, Just pick a time that is less congested anything before 5 and after 7:30 pm midweek.

I feel more at home at this gym relative to the many years spent at national overrated and super expensive Virgin Active, with HOLIER THAN THOUGH ALL attitude of many of both staff and gym patrons. I like the super circuit and humane temperament of the gym. Best times to go are 5-8am. However, the gym's management MUST please fix equipment leatherette upholstery black covers. They are not attended to for too many months despite being reported thus posing a health risk to all.

Where do I even begin. This place is overcrowded and the machines are always being hogged by inconsiderate people. The gym is so small and yet we see consultants trying to recruit more and more people. The place has become worse than a fish market. We are paying a monthly fee to use the gym but have left several times due to having to wait over half an hour at a time for a treadmill. The super circuit is always packed to capacity and the stench in there is unbearable. There are sanitisers placed at the entrance but sometimes there are no paper towels to wipe down the machines so I really don't see the point of having a sanitiser there. There is also no limit for how many people are allowed at the gym and no one wears masks!! Come on a Monday or Tuesday and people are literally weight lifting on top of each other. This gym needs to be expanded if it is going to service such a large area as the next gym is all the way in Centurion/ Centurion Lifestyle.

Definitely not worth the amount we paying , it should be cheaper considering the poor state of this gym…y’all should be extra careful on those treadmill

Clean and friendly staff.But the aircon never works. It's is incredibly hot and humid and club management doesn't so anything about it after complaining. And the parking is very unsafe. Cars are broken into in the secure" underground parking.Don't bother coming in the afternoon because it is way to busy to get a decent workout.ALSO THE AIRCON NEVER WORKS! THE WHOLE GYM IS LIKE A STEAM ROOM!"

Not enough parking and unsafe.The gym is always full.The MUSIC played during class sessions is terrible, imagine Gospel, Kwaito, Limpopo Wedding Songs, Amapiono and Durban Gqom played at a SPEED of 1.75.... (I wish to understand why they do this)The gym is very cleanThe staff is somewhat friendlyThe classes are great (Please change the music)PLEAS CHANGE THE HORRIBLE MUSIC!!!!!!!Gospel, Kwaito, Limpopo Wedding Songs, Amapiono and Durban Gqom is great music for different occasions but defiantly not something to play during a workout session.

Gym Rules are selectively enforced, Very few people pack their weights and there's limited staff to assist with this. At times weights are all over the place and you often have to unpack a significant amount of plates on certain machines.Overall Staff engagement is alright, Gym is clean and well ventilated. Depending on the time of day you may have to wait for machines, but its the same at most planet fitness gyms in my experience, so nothing new.

Good gym, great vibe from everyone, you can also go there for electricity

I joined the gym yesterday and I was told to come in for an induction. Iv been waiting at reception for 40mins now for someone to help me. Very disappointing I must say. Atleast I’m on the 5 day coolOff period. Definitely not worth joining
