We had a light lunch wonton soup noodles which was very tasty. Sushi was good and well priced. We returned for dinner and had the starter mussels and the pork & prawn sui mei - both dishes were good. The tom yum soup was very disappointing - it lacked the correct flavours and ingredients. I ordered the vegetarian chow mein - the vegetables were nice and crunchy but sadly the dish was rather salty. Great cocktails- I had the non-alcoholic Pina Colada. The restaurant has beautiful views and friendly service.

The location is ideally located on the beach front and you have the option between indoor and outdoor seating. Their sushi is absolutely amazing, including their selection of combos and platters with substitutions available. I was happy with their food and will be back.

Went to Thoban Chefs for the first time on Saturday evening. Nice west coast setting and a beautiful view over the Langebaan lagoon. We were seated at a table and received the bottle of wine we ordered. After a few sips we were informed that the table we were sitting at was booked - rather annoying as there was no reserve sign. Happy to say that the sushi made up for it. It was really good and reasonably priced.

Absolutely lovely place. One of the six restaurants in club mykonos and wow yhe beef chow main dish was amazing. This particular restaurant specializes in Asian cuisine and it really is good food. The place faces the sea, so while enjoy your dri KS and food you also get an amazing view. This entire place is breath taking and I would highly recommend that you give this place a try.

First time visit for New Year's Eve and it was amazing. From the greeting by the owner, to the very amazing and friendly staff, to the food, Thobans on The Beach you rock. We had the Asian platter, which was more than enough for 3 people, as well as a Sushi platter for 1. Food was fresh, tasty and delicious.

My first experience was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and we got our food very quickly. The food is fantastic, I had sushi and it was fresh and super tasty. For the meat lovers - my husband had a steak and it was perfectly prepared the way he wanted it to be. Great portion sizes and good value for money. I would definitely recommend especially if you like a beautiful ocean view.

We loved this dining experience. Staff were extremely friendly but still really professional. Brilliant chef and kitchen staff. Portions were generous.Good vide as one enters and it remains that way. Priceless view. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Sadly the food was seriously disappointing. The steak had lots of what appeared to be black pepper on, the menu didn't mention it - so if you aren't fond of it or allergic, don't order the classic steak. Chips was a total let down, the cheese sauce was revolting (probably from powder). Friends had a seafood platter, also disappointing, not what you expect from a seaside restaurant. The views are incredible. The service was standard. Restaurant was only about 15% full when we arrived on a Sunday at about 1pm, so I wouldn't say a reservation is required. The food was probably a good indication of why the surrounding restaurants was busier than this one.

We went to try this restaurant for the first time, we tried the hake and calamari combo and it was delicious. Big portions and very good value for money. The view is stunning too.
