Tuk Tuk Microbrewery
We had a pretty disappointing meal here, although the food was good, the food prices and what you get are pretty unreasonable! We had the tacos which were tiny, decent enough for a starter but not a main. We also had the veg stack which was nice, but mostly just cabbage so not filling, ended up walking down the road for an affordable filling meal. I refused to pay R110 for what was advertised to “fill the gap”. It did not fill even a crack.I’d recommend this for a local beer and a view. Don’t bother looking at the menu if you’re hungry.

We went there at evening time to eat and drink.As a brewery, their beer is nice. We took the samples, their agolden ale was the better one and we took one more.But the food was surprisingly good and well thought (like salted dark chocolate souce with the churros) with variety of great veggie dishes.

Greta experience. Dixon and Byron took care of us and are good in what they good . The brewery is busy at times but we were lucky to experience a bright sunny day with no people around . Food was good too and beer was great . My personal favourite was ipa. I recommend the beer tasting .

The place is meticulous. It seemed recently built or just really well looked after. The service was on point. Brisk, efficient and friendly. The fillet and chips were enjoyable. The microbrewery is at the back of the restaurant so you can see the craft beer tanks. I don’t drink alcohol so I can’t tell you much about the selection and flavours but patrons do beer tasting and pairing.

I can’t fault this place! Everything was delicious. We had pork tacos, sirloin steak and samoosas . Amazing service from Priscilla our waitron.

Delicious meal, plenty of options on the menu and great veggie options. We had the burger and chicken coleslaw, both were 10/10. The service was impeccable, everyone was super friendly, helpful with beer choices and really attentive. We’ll be back for lunch to try the tacos.

Must visit!Second visit and what a difference compared to the first visit.The food was chalk and cheese of a difference. I would highly recommend getting the nachos, you could taste the freshness.The burgers were tasty and the dessert.Great service and a lively atmosphere.Definitely worth a visit when in town.

This is a beer restaurant in Franschhoek, it's located in the main road. It was very crowded. Fortunately, I was able to enter without waiting, I didn't make a reservation, though. I recommend to make a reservation in advance. Beer and the dishes were very nice!

Tuk Tuk Microbrewery
What a kind and friendly restaurant. The chef mixed up our order and he made us some starters free of charge and gave us a round of drinks to apologise. That is exactly how customer service is meant to be. The food was also really delicious and different to lots of the other cuisine in the area.I don't drink beer, but I'm guessing this is a good place to come if you do, as most other places specialise in wine.
