Rachawadee Thai Spa

My partner has been going to Rachawadee for a number of years till his favourite masseuse left to go back to Thailand. He has now found another great masseuse there and goes when he has back spasms. I want to point out that almost every time I speak with the receptionist we have communication issues. She is rude and in my opinion a bad person to be the first point of communication with your clients. She doesn't speak clearly and I always have a back and forth with her about appointment times. Waste of my time. I ask what time the therapist is available and she is unclear. Then I state a time and she says that she's not available. You really need to train her properly. Sorry, I hate complaining, just being honest.

What a gem!!! Most amazing traditional Thai massage. Will definitely book to come back, hands down the best massage I have ever had.

It's great. Very down to earth and a bubble that takes you out of the city and into this little piece of heaven. Great garden and best of all are the therapies and the teeny weeny cups of tea

An amazing experience. They treated us SO WELL and the treatments were original and relaxing/fun: they scrubbed us, wrapped us in yoghurt and gave us a great thai massage! Very recommended. Looking forward to being back in JHNB for another session!

In the Times of working from home , studying from home , one needs body work. This is undoubtedly one of the best spaces with the greatest energy to rejuvenate ones body. The staff are super friendly and service orientated.The house space is tranquil and serene.

The area surrounding the spa is around downtown JHB. I didn't feel safe driving alone around the area. Regarding the spa itself, you can hear distant noises, and walking footsteps on the wooden floors in the spa during your massage.The massage was great, but you'd have to really be cautious of the surroundings. For that reason, I regrettably won't be visiting the spa again.

Every time I have gone I have received amazing service and an excellent massage. The spa is also great value for money and you are treated to tea and a foot bath upon arrival!

The best Thai spa in Johannesburg in my opinion. I have been going there for 15 years and it remains mind blowing. They open till 10pm which is great for people with long working days.Tonight I had the 90min Traditional Thai Therapeutic Massage. Wow! Wow! Wow! I could feel energy releases. It has its moments of discomfort as expected (that nice sort of pain) but plenty of sublime moments. Pim was amazing.They describe the massage this way:“Full body massage using Thai technique, stretching and pressure point targeting techniques. Special loose fitting clothing is worn and NO OIL is used.”This visit was in winter but they made the room wonderfully warm. There are massages where oils are used which are also great but this one is magic. Go get yourself, the new you.

What a find! My husband and I are in from out of town and had just returned from Safari and really needed a massage. We found this place on line and cannot say enough good things! The spa and ambiance take you to Thailand! The therapists are experts at what they do and the prices are very fair! I wish we had a Rachawadee at home.
