Soho always delivers on the experience of transporting you to NYC. However, that’s where it sadly ends. The team is always friendly and so welcoming, but for the price you pay, the nail technicians are amateurs. They take a LONG time to actually do acrylic and mist technicians are only equipped to do standard mani’s and paint. The salon has also steadily declined with only one shape of tips available, hardly any colors for acrylic and the shellac range of colours are disappointingly the same for many many years. Used to be my favourite place, but waiting for technicians no longer saves me any time.

Works on walk ins basis only, however, you can book in advance if you are a big group and pay 50% deposit to confirm your booking. Great services available at a good price. They will order any drink you want and add to your bill. They offer a concierge service where they will run an errand for you while you get pampered and will add to your bill if there was an expense involved. Shoe cleaning service available at a good rate. They offer a birthday discount and make a big fuss when it is your birthday. Super friendly and professional staff.

Hidden gem on the left of Hamleys in Sandton City Mall! Warm welcome whilst you get chaperoned to comfy leather recliner chair. Your feet gets soaked in warm bubbles whilst your hands get prepped. Free wifi available. You can order snacks and drinks as well as send someone to help run your errands. Walk ins only and doesn't require a booking. You can opt for two people to work on you to get the process done faster. Exfoliating scrub, followed by a fresh paint and damp towels used to keep the hands and feet warm. Rejuvenating massage on the hands and feet to soak up some moisture after the process. Great experience and great customer service from Eveline!

This place is very good, but the zero-bookings/walk-ins only policy makes it really hard to be loyal.You can come several times a day and there isn't availability, when ideally you could have booked a time for all of your treatments in advance.

Was totally blown away by the sensational service I received today! I was in such a rush to get my nails done and somehow they managed to do my hands and feet perfectly, and as quickly as they promised me they would! I also got my favourite coffee delivered to my seat while having my nails done. All the staff from the front of house, to the cashiers and the lovely man who got my coffee were wonderful. I haven’t been this impressed in a long time. Shout out to Phuti and Precious!

A nice pedicure treatment with my girls. It’s a great place to go and treat yourself. The staff is really friendly and professional and while your pedicure is done you get a great massage through ought. They have amazing unique nail polish quality colors as well. Oh my Gosh it’s such a great place

This is going to the a lengthy review and if one sees my reviews, they will know that I am usually fair and I have used the same vain for this review.I was in Johannesburg for business meetings before going to Cape Town. I stayed at the Sandton Sun Hotel which is linked to the malI and hence Soho Nails. I came in a little after 4pm and explained that I had only an hour and a half max for a manicure and pedicure which they confirmed was possible.The reception and welcome was excellent and I cannot complain about that. The lady who did my pedicure was also excellent and did a very good job. My manicure on the other hand done by Petronella was an absolute disaster! She did an extremely poor job on the manicure and overlay to the point I enquired if this is how nails are done in SA. She used only manual equipment bruising my cuticles in the process and leaving them in such a poor untidy state that even a student nail technician would be embarrassed by! She kept saying she had to leave on time and this could have been the reason she was in a rush. I know I am repeating myself but I have never in my life had such a poorly done manicure especially for the price! She proceeded to do a shoddy job with the shape of the nails and apply the heaviest layer of polish which I am sure was to hide the awful job she had done. I rarely complain but this was so bad to the point that I requested to speak to the manager. I was due to fly to Cape Town the next day and asked to come back before my flight to get the mess corrected. I was advised that the Joburg branch was not open on Wednesdays. The manager advised me to go to their branch in Cape Town where my issues would be resolved.To say that I was unhappy, would be an understatement. Other than the poor workmanship, over 2 hours of my time was wasted that day and in the end I had to ask them to remove the nail polish as it was a real embarrassment which made me late for a speaking engagement.I went to the Cape Town branch and as usual the welcome was fantastic. My toes were repainted and the nail technician who saw my nails and redid my manicure was shocked at how poorly my nails were done. I asked him if I had presented with my nails that way, how long would it appear I last had a manicure. He and the receptionist both separately agreed it looked like I did my nails 3 weeks ago. These were done 3 days ago! Thankfully the Cape Town nail technician resolved my issues by redoing the full manicure from scratch! This was unlike the pedicure which was only a paint repair job that I know I contributed towards messing up but no doubt worsened by Petronella trying to 'correct' the issue by using her usually 'whack a thick layer' on approach to everything!I know that this might not be the norm for Soho Nails as the reviews and my personal experience are at extreme opposites. I probably suspect the individual involved is probably inexperienced or unqualified. Irrespective of this, it is really wrong for a business to let such a technicians waste over two hours of a client's time no matter how nice they and for that price. Yes, the service other than the poor manicure was great but I would rather a place with worse ambience and service but leave with beautiful nails at the end.

Soho V&A never disappoints, better pack your boarding pass because when you step into Soho you have left South Africa and stepped into NYC! The staff is always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Attention to detail and focuses to delight at every corner , whether it’s serving some champagne while having my nails done and doing some last minute errands.I always do the acrylic French tips and it’s lasts for close to a month . I get so many compliments from friends fam and clients . No better place to get your nails done .

Uuuuum it’s quite expensive I tell you. But worth it. Had my nails done on Mother’s Day with my husband by my side. We both had foot massages and it was great I felt like falling asleep. As for the nail technician I was not impressed with the speed. She knew what to do but she was vvvery slow and I had a 6months old baby to take care of. It was a Sunday treatment for me because I hardly get pampered so my husband took us out. I enjoyed it. I like the fact that there’s a private room so I’m definitely going back again. So many gel colors to choose from. The place looks modern and decent.
