Nqutu Police Station
I went to open an assault case on the 1 January 2022 and the police officers including the Captain on duty showed no interest to help me. The female officer Dladla started making excuses that since I was coming from Nhlabamkhozi, Nqutu police station can't help me, I need to go to Babanango police station etc.It was disheartening as it was gender based violence assault yet the female police officer failed to assist me.The person who had assaulted me later chased me with weapons, rocks and garden tools wanting to harm me further, had he managed to murder me my blood would have been on the hands of the police officers from Nqutu police station.The justice system fails women daily In South Africa and the people who are meant to protect us will rather chase us away instead of helping us.
