First I want to say thank you to Monica.What an amazing place to get a tattoo. The most friendliest people. Alex great at arranging everything and Monica, I would say my favorite tattoo artist by far.The place was clean and all her art on the wall really just gave this place a vintage feel to it. Monica was super fast with the whole process and the pain was minimal.Over all, I will go back and recommend Monica. She is an amazing artist! Prices are really good.

One of the best tattoo studios in Pretoria. Their place is firstly so stunning and the owner/tattoo artist is so talented. I've gotten 4 of my 5 tattoos with them and each experience has been better than the last. Drop them a mail and get tatted, it's so fun!

What a great experience. All the artists that work here are very talented. I love this place! If anyone wants a new tattoo, I recommend you go here. They are genuine, kind and inclusive so you always feel welcome and you can just be yourself.My husband got his first tattoo here and was super happy. I recently got a hummingbird on my chest close to my shoulder. So in love with this little bird. It's my favorite tattoo so far. Monica and Andrew are so talented. All their skills are on point, including beautiful line work and color. Ushi is already excellent too even tho she's an apprentice.

TL;DR – A Fine Madness provides the best quality service in the country, and Monica is an amazing artist – I could not have hoped for a better “my-first-tattoo” experience than what I had here.Getting a first tattoo is a scary thing to do. Especially since you have no idea what to expect, what to do, etc, and the internet is full of horror stories and tattoo fails. I obviously headed to Google to find out how I can get a tattoo done with the least chance of ending up with an epic tattoo fail, and the most important thing was to find the perfect tattoo artist. Not just someone who can draw (hopefully they can), or somebody super nice (also a bonus), or somebody with experience, or someone not too cheap, etc, but to find someone whose style you like. After finding a style you’re comfortable with, find a person you can trust. I scoured the internet and Facebook, and fell in love with A Fine Madness’s style. Like, head-over-heels in love. Not one to trust such strong feelings, I kept searching for great tattoo artists (and there’s a few in Gauteng), but not one of them captured my heart the way A Fine Madness’s delicate and clean tattoos did. Eventually I committed to meeting Monica, and drove the 90kms. I’ve met a few tattoo artists, and I’ve never met anyone so friendly and forthcoming as Monica and Alixandra. After deciding I liked them, and I like the awesome design she drew for me, and my booking was set up, I continued to spam-email them with questions. I sent A LOT of e-mails and asked A LOT of questions, sometimes (accidently) more than once. And they patiently responded to each and every one of them. On the day, Monica calmed my nerves in 2 seconds with her cool and patient manner. We set the design, and started the process. Monica was attentive about how I felt and made great progress in little time. I walked out a few hours later, with an awesome experience and an awesome tattoo. So much so, that another 2 of my friends booked with A Fine Madness, even though it’s a long drive for us. This quality service is worth flying thousands of kilometers for, never mind driving just a few!
