Q Pave - Paving Cape Town

Had a driveway replacement from QPave with excellent prompt service and finished it off exactly when they said. Would definitely recommend.

Poor after sales and follow up on repairs. Team returned twice after many complaints only to patch poor work which resulted in further cracking and plaster falling off. Stoep now leaning towards one side and suspect original foundation was poor. Leaking sand through cracks in wall of stoep. Will have to get a professional company to rebuild stoep as these guys don't know what they are doing. They use sub contractors who promised that they would return to see if their repairs would hold but never returned. Won't use them again.

From start to finish our experience with Grant and his team was excellent. The professionalism and attention to detail was top notch. I would highly reccommand them to anyone wanting quality modern paving- My husband and I are delighted with our driveway

Was highly impressed by the friendly service, and also the beautiful job done. They were the only company that said they could use red half-bricks to match my original driveway (at a competitive price) and they went above and beyond, redoing some of the original driveway so the join is seamless. Very impressed.

Qpave did our paving around a year ago and they did a good job. However now a year later when they are supposed to come and seal the pavers, they are unresponsive. I have sent the owner 2 messages already, called their office three times already and left my number and no-one has to date contacted me to discuss the sealing of the paving and have been unresponsive.. It seems as if they don't care afterwards about their clients. This is unprofessional.To Qpave's response below:This is not what happened Qpave. Firstly, when Grant met with my husband, my husband advised him that the work under the lapa would be difficult and that the ground level would need to be raised to get enough of a fall for the water to flow toward the pool. When the job started, Grant did not come to site to relay this information to the foreman. Therefore the pavers were almost completely laid and my husband had to call the foreman to site to show that the levels had not been done correctly. He still argued that the levels were correct until we showed him how the water was collecting and running the opposite direction as intended. Your team had to then bring in (according to them) an additional 5 tonnes of crusher dust to correct this. This delayed the entire job by 2 days.Then, also because the foreman was not communicated with clearly, the builders proceeded to plaster and stipple the wall where the stairs and raised sections were cut away. They did a terrible job of this and the stippled section was much thicker that the original wall. The amount we deducted was for the cost to remove the additional cement from the wall and to restore it to a bear wall again. I did not charge to resurface that wall, as we were expecting to do that anyway.That fact that you do not want to service your clients after your work is complete is a concern. More of a concern is how you are trying to pin the non-payment of part of the account on us. Next time, ensure that the person who is meeting the client on site communicates to his foreman everything that was discussed.Just give us your standard rate for sealing the paving and we are happy to pay upfront so no risk to you.Your comments are also contrary to Grants last email to us which stated, Hi TyronI have attached the invoice with your ... deduction .Hope this is in order and apologise for the misunderstanding of the plastering and hassle it has caused you."It did not sound like Grant was blaming us then."

Did a great job, but did not seal the brick paving. Paving stains and gets green from rain and black marks from car tyres.Very disappointed as this was a large area. I was not even offered the option of sealing and when i asked at the completion about sealing i was told it is not necessary but would be extra cost if i wanted it. After a bit of research it is clear this should have been done. Will not use this company again or recommend!

I must say I am impressed with Q Pave. Prior to commencing they kept me updated with regards to the bricks. They were punctual and efficient on the day. The job was completed in one day (shocked). Best part is they got the design spot on. Grant you really have an amazing team. Well done and thank you, Q Pave Cape Town.

We were very impressed with the team leader and his men, They did an excellent job. The work was done as per the timeline and they left the working areas neat and tidy. Any snags was sorted out immediately on the same day by the project manager. Our pool is looking stunning with the new coping and pavers.

From the first meeting I was impressed by the professionalism and, quick and efficient service of Q-Pave. All meetings were scheduled at my convenience. They also came in cheaper than all my other quotes. The finished paving was of a high standard and all rubble neatly cleared away. I am very satisfied with the result.
