Incurred a R3k Handling penalty on a recent purchase. Bought a Sealy at Tafelberg, no risk disclosure that it was an extra high 35cm and might pose an issue (20-25 is average), being a medium comfort bed with a topper. So we had to return it as my wife is short and couldn't easily get on/off. Sealy charged a 20% handling fee via Tafelberg. That's a R3000 penalty on a R15000 bed... couldn't even replace it without a penalty, surely a handling fee is a Flat Fee not %. Make sure you check your bed height and T&C's.
