A fun experience for my five year old to meet and feed the animals, and wine tasting is a bonus for parent. Will go again when in the area.

Beautiful little spot tucked on the residential side opposite the farm. So quiet and peaceful. The chapel is beautiful - the most amazing stone bath overlooking your own stoep. Really and inspired place!

What an absolute gem of a property! We stayed for two nights in the Stone Cottage and it was the most unique and intimate AirBNB I've ever stayed at(there are 7 different styles of unique housing to choose from so make sure you check their website out). The Stone cottage windows and doors can be opened on all sides for some of the best views Franschhoek has to offer. I would highly recommend the Farm Sanctuary to any couple looking for a different and exciting experience in such lovely wine country!

Well worth a visitFeeding the animals knowing funds go to keeping the place running is a must. There's some informative writings on the meat industry that we should all be aware off.'Pigcasso' wasn't 'working' during the visit but nevertheless it's a chance to see his work.

We stayed in the barn for 2 nights, unfortunately even though they say no one is allowed upstairs, they still allowed people to go up. We did not appreciate this as our stuff was in that small space and children were also going up.

We stayed at the stone cottage accommodation at the Farm Sanctuary. It was splendid! Beautiful building, great complimentary service. The entire farm smelled of lavender. Can't wait to go back.

The Pigcasso was interesting. There was only carbonated drinks available, and no cafe or restaurant. Onli one table outside with seating, which was occupied when we arrived. Kids should enjoy it though as they get to feed sheep. We were there for approximately 20min.

Extremely disappointed by this place. Booked to stay at the stone cottage for a bike adventure. On arrival we could't find the lock box and instructions were unclear. A group of youngsters were drinking at the entrance and verbally abusing my gf and I where it lead to them trying to push us of our bikes. Eventually found the entrance but felt extremely unsafe as the gates were't locked or able to lock.

Really beautiful space if you're looking to walk around and see art and animals. There is no place to eat or drink at on the property as yet, but wine tastings can be arranged.
