Yesterday was the 3rd time encountering the same pathetic service. I've been buying ice cream from this Steers since 2015 when I first got to university at UKZN as a student, now I'm employed I'm still buying there because it's closer to where I stay. I can say since Jan or Feb, the service has been whack especially that new Sthembiso guy, he's always angry if he's not angry he's chatting the female customers and he takes FOREVER to take their orders and you're just standing there in line. Yesterday, I waited for over 10 minutes in line only to be told by him that they had no chicken. Last week I asked for a King Steer burger which cost me R110; he gave me a rib burger...IMAGINE!. I've been a long time customer of Medwood Steers and at the current juncture the service is quite pathetic.

What a bad way to start a friday......gone to steers to order a quick bite for 2 people, 2 steers snack burger meals. After repeating my order 4 times to the person working and taking orders, only 1 steers snack burger meal were supplied. Maybe the people taking orders must listen carefully, pay attention to what customers are saying and ordering, because the person on shift now, either had a bad night or are just not in the mood for work or serving cliens. Wont stop at this steer any time soon in the future, I'll rather go somewhere else for a quick bite

This is the 3rd time buying wacky Wednesday from this branch and everytime I've been disappointed. Firstly you order beef they give you the wrong stuff then go back for them to change it. Then you get the correct stuff but it's ice cold. Some people don't mind waiting for food made while you wait but it seems that you prepare food in advance which is terrible. Won't be buying there again totally not satisfied

Absolutely disgusted!!They delivered the wrong order.After a lengthy discussion they then compensated the same meal with a fly in it. purposely setup I suppose because we questioned the wrong order we received.And compensation for the lovely fly meal is another chance to get another infested meal from the same branch.Don’t bother with this branch. Quality control and customer satisfaction is not high on their priorities.

Pathetic. The staff were more interested in a security guard being reprimanded in public by his supervisor. The food (ordered 3 whacky Wednesdays and chips) was cold when we got home.On arriving home, a four minute drive away, the food supplied was short and cold.We went back (loadshedding had started a few minutes earlier), it was like walking into a building that was on fire - smoke was pouring out the doors and filling the entire shop.We spoke to one of the assistants, who looked in the bag, turned and ran out of the shop because the smoke was so bad.The missing part of the order was “found”. When asked about the food being cold, another assistant said “it’s warm”.The worst Steers order I have ever had. Oh, if your shop can’t cope with loadshedding, shut your systems down so the shop does not fill with smoke.I doubt I will be going back there.

Maybe the people taking orders must listen carefully, pay attention to what customers are saying and ordering, because the person on shift now, either had a bad night or are just not in the mood for work or serving cliens. Wont stop at this steers ever again I'll rather go somewhere else for a quick bite.

1st time was wrong order, my mom orded a chicken burger but got beef which she doesn't eat , 2nd time cold food, I'm positive it was an old cold uncollected order then finally 3rd strike, 5th October 2022, I'm an Indian fasting" and orders a vegetarian burger

Very poor service and rude staff. First time visit was poor as well. So this was a second chance and they all failed miserably. Asked for a coffee as the one at the engen shop wasn't operational. Was told that they don't do coffee. But then saw a staff member take in milk to warm up with coffee...lol...must be a hot spring for someone on a cold day I thought but definitely not going to me. Ordered a medium chips on this occasion and it disappointed again....drenched in oil. I watched the staff member not even drain oil out when he packed my chips. Then he assured and argued with me that that's how it's done. Never visiting again. The garage or the Steers. As for the good reviews...on here...must be just friends putting them in to pick up poor ratings.
