Small Space Gardens

After years of neglect, Angela and her team transformed our front yard pretty much in a day. During the first consult, she did her best to understand our requirements as well as the constraints of the space and our household (i.e. dogs). She checked in with us along the way on specifics so we always had a chance to comment. For the non-gardener like me, I particularly appreciated that she included photos of her suggestions with the initial quote. And, most importantly, she did it all: sourcing plants, extras, soil, etc. So far we're very happy with the result and are looking forward to seeing the final result once the plants have had a chance to establish themselves.

My small garden consisted of an L shaped piece of artificial grass. Angela and her team transformed it into a waterwise, mainly indigenous, space where nature can flourish. The entire project was a delight, from the initial discussion, to the finishing touches. Angela made sure that she understood my vision for the space, and executed it perfectly. She has a vast knowledge of plants, and was able to suggest plants with interesting foliage, in terms of colour, texture and flowers, which would also withstand the harsh coastal conditions. Despite the weather being very hot and windy the past 2 months, the plants have settled, and are flourishing. I am loving my small garden, and was thrilled to see the first sunbird visiting a flowering aloe! Many thanks to Small Space Gardens for interpreting my vision so exactly and in a friendly, professional, efficient way, with great attention to the basics, like sufficient mulch, to the little details like the water bowl for birds. Highly recommended!

Angela is absolutely incredible, from the first visit to discuss our needs, to the numerous emails discussing ideas and through the entire project, Angela was an absolute pleasure to work with and nothing was too much to ask. Our garden is everything that we could have ever dreamed of. We are in love with our beautiful new space and are already enjoying being out in the garden again. I highly recommend Angela and her team to give your garden a makeover, or even if you are just looking for someone to give you a few ideas and tips.

Angela has assisted us with ad hoc consultations before, and it was fantastic to finally be able to let her go wild in our garden. She treated our space with the care and attention she would her own garden, only choosing plants that would thrive in the conditions and with minimal maintenance (as is necessary for a family with young children). She worked with our feedback and was super accommodating of any requests along the way, working with us to create a space that we will love for years. Angela and her team did a stellar job at pulling my small space garden into shape. From the first on-site visit to the initial quote, she was professional and listened to how I use the space. The team came onsite and within a day and a half it went from unruly, to landscaped. They ensured that everything was cleaned up at the end of the day.
