Way too many cockroaches, the place wasn't clean, they overcharged us for no reason and it's way too expensive for what you get. Please staff, check under the beds (disgusting) and spend some time cleaning the place... No wifi but that's the least of their concerns. It wasn't up to standard even for us, 4 hippie backpackers. I wouldn't go back

It was the most horrifying experience of my existence...firstly they gave us a room with holes on the floor,4 single beds bt we book as a couple,we left without taking a shower bcos the showers we terrifying,bugs all over.since it ws our anniversary we were expecting to hv a memorable night bt we couldn't,we couldn't wait for the check out time we left before it.we were very disappointed.1 star is for the bug nets they provided.

A backpackers that gives you more than you'd expect. Friendly staff. Cheap. Clean. Well stocked kitchen with public fridges. Definitely recommended in the off season.

This place is as rustic as it gets. But its beautiful, close to the beach, and great for a backpackers getaway :) Take your own kettle :P

Cockroach's everywhere. One night we killed 8. It was gross and neglected. Overpriced, old rooms and dirty stuff. Avoid this site, you can find a better one

Beautiful and peaceful tent camping area but it was over-priced and had some crucial issues. Principally the water in the ablutions was out. When we returned from our dives we couldn't drink or wash the salt off ourselves in the shower. The caretaker wasn't very friendly or inviting. She did the basics but it definitely left us with a feeling that is all too common in SA: the business is doing the customer a favor by providing a service (nevermind that you are paying for it).

Be aware when booking with these thieves!! This lodge needs to learn a bit of customer service. First when I booked it was a struggle to call as the phone is never answered, then I started emailing, but again no replys. Eventually after 3 weeks I got a reply and I ended up booking a campsite now over dec and jan. Big mistake!! I paid in full in october, never recieved an invoice or what the cancellation clause is. When I cancelled the booking this morning, I was told that they wont refund my money back to me as they first need to replace my booking and i will be charged a hefty admin fee and commisions fee. This is unacceptable and down right robbery!! So be aware when booking here.

It was gross. Dirty and not up to standard. For 300 pp it was horribly overpriced. Beds were hard and mattresses and bedding were old. Cutlery was filthy. No running water inside the unit. Never again. No thanks

Wonderful company, excellent amenities, a small paradise at competitive rates. Thank you to the entire team for the best stay! The kitchen is fully kitted with everything you could possibly need except that we couldn't find a tin opener. A really superb self-catering option with a 4km stretch to the beach.

Your site did not mention it is a backpacker facility...with arrival we already paid in full, what a shock!!! We had to go and stay somewhere else, the place was so dirty , think the bugs would eat me alive, I hope owner contact me cause I expect a refund
