Unfortunately I have had a very unpleasant experience dealing with Multichoice Middelburg..from battling to get through to their landline to them not returning calls,when promised to do so.When the technician finally arrived ,he fixed only half the problem ... whereafter he left with promise to phone me back to arrange a date to finish the job and order a needed part,needless to say..havent heard from him again and it's been 8 days!I phoned Multichoice again yesterday where the lady promised to find out what's going on and phone me back...I am still awaiting their response.I am really disappointed in Multichoice Middelburg...and cannot recommend them to anyone.

Bad services rendered by the staff there

Friendly service, quite helpful even though it was on a busy Saturday morning after a viscous thunderstorm the previous day. Solved my problem as fast as they could.

Very slow service at the branch, and although there's literally over 50 boxes on display... they don't sell decoders - with no signage stating this.Waited long to be helped only to discover I have to go elsewhere.

Not what I expected at all. Multichoice Middelburg could not repair my Explora decoder corrupted hard drive. I was told to buy a new one and all my important recordings were gone just like that. This is their product and surely as a paying customer, my expectation from them was to attempt to do some repairs on the decoder as a minimum (I was willing to pay for it - that's how important that decoder is to me). As with many these days, the skill to repair products is gone forever. Sadly, this boils down to lack of customer service and it is clear their main focus is making money only. To make it worse, the staff was unfriendly and not helpful. This goes hand in hand with the poor service. Could this be the reason why people are fast moving to streaming services such as Netflix? Nonetheless, I was extremely dissapointed with the service.
