Great for basics and conveniently located. Most of the staff are excellent and willing to help while some are a bit slow. Gentleman in the paint department spent 15 minutes helping me adjusting a little paint sample to match wall colour for patching up - shows a lot of care despite the small purchase. Dont wait for someone to help you - just walk up and ask.

Found the PPE I required and then had a quick look around. It is as expected for all Builders Express shops. The shop was busy, but the cashiers made the effort to make the paypoint go as fast as possible, and there was always someone around to assist where needed. Some shelves were not properly stocked as per the labels, but the busy shop might have had something to do with it.

It's... convenient . Trying to find staff to help you with something can be very difficult, but when found, they tend to be able to point you in the right direction.

10% discount on Wednesday. Quite a well equipped hardware store. There is also a small garden centre. You have to look for someone to assist you but when found they are very helpful

Some of the guys at the paint section are really juvenile and negatively impact the experience of going there.I ordered paint and was told I would be notified when it arrived that was 4 months ago, since then I went back and got paint, they just never contacted me.They get personal with customers in an un professional manner and joke around with each other before assisting customers.Over the weekends there are ladies who work the paint section who are super professional and helpful, maybe the guys need a lady supervisor in the week to calm them down.

This is truly one of the worst stores possible. They do not honor the guarantee on the products and have repeatedly not honored the price displayed on shelf. It is a pity that they are taking up the floor space of a proper store. Fortunately, there are other stores now with better service, prices, and stock levels.
