Rondebosch Golf Club

We had a really good time here, the course did have a slight bit of litter that you see in some other reviews that was maybe not insignificant; but the course itself was in very good shape and the price very affordable, pace moved well, tee times available, etc.

Had a great round, perfect weather. The greens are rolling very true, and everything was very green for the time of year and amount of rain we've had. So well done to the green keepers. Halfway house has some solid options (halaal friendly). All staff are really friendly. The course has undulations, but is very comfortably walkable for those who prefer walking. Shot my lowest score in a while, which I feel is due to the fact that the course is not as challenging as it could be. The other factor contributing to the lost star is the fact that there were multiple unrepaired pitch marks on almost every green. This really affected putting, and speed of gameplay. Great day out nonetheless, with a great group of people. Even the regulars I met on the day were very friendly.

One of Cape Town's traditional and long standing Golf Clubs.Beautifully treed and lush fairways. In winter the drainage is good but after heavy rains can be a little soft underfoot.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing Rondebosch. It is a beautiful course, is easy to walk and is well maintained. The litter in the river is noticeable but it didn't spoil the experience at all for me. The club house was in a great condition. The staff were helpful and friendly and the beers after the round were ice cold. Overall a brilliant day out!

Very nice golf club. Beautiful course, with lots of open space and well maintained greens and fairways. Terrific service, everyone on the staff is super nice, friendly, and helpful, and are always available. Driving range is a little small but is also quite beautiful. Easy access to golf carts, the food is pretty good, and the pro shop has everything you need and more. Definitely check out this club if you are staying in Cape Town!

Great fairways and great greens. Greens are pretty quick but fair lines and flat so not super challenging. I must say these fairways are a 8.5 on a 10-scale. The river didn't smell bad or whatsoever but it did look terrible. A cleanup would be welcome tho it didn't ruin my pleasure. 4 stars because of that and because of the lack of a real good driving range.
