Hout Bay View

Within 3 weeks of Travel, that was the worst Stay we had. The staff was really feiendly but the rest was not good enough at all. Our room had a nice furniture, but not clean and a bathroom, which you cant expect to use for someone. A really bad smelly drain, which was so smelly, that it was nearly impossible to sleep in.The breakfast was a joke as well - cheap slice cheese wrapped in plastic, something which was not tasting or looking like coffee, old toast etcSeriously - it was such a bad experience that we booked another hotel and moved out before.No recommendation at all!!

If you're touring person Cape Town is the best place to visit.They're lots of tourist attractions in Cape Town mainly.*Simon's Town(S.A Navy.)*Chapman's Peak.* Hout Bay.*Table Mountainview.*Robben Island.*Cape Point.* Cape Town Environment and sea breeze.

Simply the best. Hout Bay View is set in a beautiful location, with magnificent views of the mountains and the bay. The house is stylishly designed with great attention to detail, and spotlessly clean. The owners Andrew and Bryan are helpful and attentive, without being intrusive, as is Stanley. I had a wonderful stay, slept really well, enjoyed the local amenities, and will definitely come back.

This wonderful guest house changed how I think about Hout Bay! Breathtaking views and fantastic modern rooms. Our host and owner, Brian, made us feel most welcome even though we were only there for a night. Reasonably priced and also includes a bloody nice breakfast!High-fives all round!

I have just returned from a 9 night stay at Hout Bay View. This really is a great find in Hout Bay. Incredibly modern and stylish throughout with rooms that offer outstanding levels of comfort - and in addition, every room has its own huge terrace. A breakfast tray was delivered to my door each morning, and the whole experience far exceeded my expectations. For excellent value for money, coupled with the tranquility that only a smaller venue can offer (albeit one with a lovely pool!), I strongly recommend Hout Bay View.

Very nice place, and the house is beautiful.For breakfast, I would recommend some improvements (limited options). Since there is no option for eating around the area (unless you drive, or walk 10 min), I would suggest to propose some snacks (chips, biscuits, drinks, ice cream) so the guests can buy it. Otherwise, could be a big struggle to find something to eat near the area especially if you checkin late. I would also recommend to have a car for this place. Not much Uber options around the area.

THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES!!!!! listen!! do not go to this hotel!!!!! the owner (andrew) is an ALCOHOLIC!!!!!!!!!!! He left us stranded outside on the street for 1 hour not replying to our calls or texts even though we had informed him of our check in time (because he was passed out drunk). it took us 2 hours to find someone at the hotel to check us in. Upon checkin, he didn’t give us the room we paid for.while we were moving our bags, we found him in our room eating our pasta that we had gotten with us. We ended up leaving the next day, and HE REFUSED TO REFUND US FOR THE REMAINING 8 NIGHTS, AND HE COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHAT WE WERE SAYING BECAUSE HE WAS DRUNK OUT OF HIS MIND.

If you want a luxurious warm stay this is your venue, it's everything you need in houtbay.The location is on point overlooking the ocean,the mountain ranges too. The house is so modern and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Best holiday destination. If ever you are in cape town on the Atlantic seaboard book your stay here. You will not go wrong.

A view with a room: what a fitting slogan and the room to go with the view is also lovely. We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hout Bay View guesthouse. We booked very last minute and were greeted very warmly when we arrived. Both Bryan and Drew are excellent hosts. We had booked a room with a garden view. Bryan offered to move us to a sea facing room once one became available, which turned out to be the next day. The view is breathtaking and opening the curtains in the morning put a smile on our faces. The rooms were very clean and tidy, thanks to Stan. A personal highlight for me were the two dogs Benny and Indie that are always up for a cuddle:-) The interior of the house has a lovely, warm ambience with soft music playing in the background. We felt very safe and homey here and would definitely return.

☆MISREPRESENTATION☆Not all rooms have sea view. Some have a garden view, with a balcony with some seaview (when you walk right to the end)Unfortunately all are sold at the same price so you don't know what you get. We were highly disappointed with our room.Will not recommend
