Peacock House

This was a pleasant surprise. Very welcoming and make you feel at home. Well kept rooms and more than adequate space.Food was excellent. Look forward to more stays in this establishment.They deserve the 5 stars

The place is beautiful, Nice rooms the only problem was we were large group and the place does not cater for a group of people. The rooms are mainly for couples who just want to sleep overnight. We could not play music and make noise because the place is surrounded by other houses. I think on the webside it must be stated so that people with large groups or who want to have fun and play music will be aware and make a choice if they still want to book the place.

Had an awesome stay there. Everything 100%, friendly people too. The showers could be better though...Edit 2022-10-05: Can't seem to reply to your reply,so I'm doing it here. Well it was almost a year ago, so not quite sure anymore. But I think it was something to do with there not being enough hot water.

Friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms. Awesome nice relaxing garden area. Will definitely come again next time and recommend to anyone else!

What an amazing place, the decor and tranquility of the garden makes you feel like you are in another world! Excellent friendly service and brilliant food! Loved it!!!

Nice place for an overnight. Enjoyed our stay.The room was small and quaint and there weren't any chairs outside the room.The bathroom doesn't have a divider or a curtain so if you have a double room your guest sits on their bed and looks at you sitting on the toilet because of the mirror that isn't very well placed.The lady that cleans the room just walks into the room while you're still sleeping so keeping the door locked is also advised.

We booked and paid at this establishment 1 week in advance for a Saturday evening. When we were 15 minutes away, we contacted the owner to notify them of this. When we were in front of the gate, the bell wasn't working so we phoned the owner again, upon which a child answered and opened the gate. There was no one at reception and the lady that eventually assisted us, didn't know that we had a booking. After 15 minutes of trying to get hold of the owner, we eventually got our keys. Not only were the tvs not working in both rooms, but the showers and glasses in the rooms were filthy. Again, we tried to get hold of the owner, with no luck. A child again answered the BUSINESS phone, and we demanded speaking to the owner. She was apparently at a hockey match (14h00 on a Saturday), we complained about the lack of service and she had the audacity to tell my husband that she has a life too! We decided to check out, without using anything in the rooms. We then had to try to get hold of her for another 15 minutes just to get out of the premises! The owner's mother sent a message later on telling us how wonderful her daughter is and that we, as guests, were in the wrong. I will never recommend this place, not only is there no service, but the rooms are dirty, the swimming pool green and you get no joy if you need assistance of any kind. The best part is that the problems were on their side and they refuse to pay back our money.

Wonderful place. Affordable and accommodating (pet friendly). Staff are quick to respond and willing to assist.
