Johannesdal is without a doubt my favourite Cape Winelands wedding venue. The venue is an architectural marvel, surrounded by the a mountain backdrop very few venues can compete with. Once you step on site, you escape the hustle and bustle and will find yourself in a tranquil piece of heaven. With a variety of ceremony set-up options and a spectacular open reception hall to transform to your heart's desires this venue ticks all the boxes. The cherry on top is Johnny Hamman who will delight you and all your guests with his exceptional culinary skills. Look no further, Johannesdal is a bride's (and photographer!) dream come true.

Beautiful green venue... Winter or Summer, a lovely function venue. Classy, vintage but rustic, fresh air and breathtaking views. this place can be used as is or made up to fit any theme. The kitchen (catering)needs some additional equipment to be fully functional but it's nice and spacious.

Breathtaking mountain views, beautiful gardens, such a romantic venue! The perfect wedding venue where you can have the entire celebration on-site; the ceremony, pre-drinks and reception.

I have no doubt that Johannisdal is one of THE Places for a beautiful Wedding in South Africa. We were there for even such a wedding and it was beautiful. Not only the Rooms, also the staff was pleasent and top lodge. At least the stunning panorama did his part perfectly. The ONLY thing i must say - in one of the Rooms we had a problem with the plumbing in the shower - the water did'nt wanted to drain. I am completly sure the problem is already fixed, unfortenutly not on our stay there.BUT i recommend this place anyway - because everything else, and i mean everything, was perfect for us and the happy ever after newly weds
