This place has new owners since covid. And they have completely transformed the place. George is super friendly, helped us fix our car. And sent us on interesting trips during the day.The food at the restaurant is suburb. Don't waste time cooking. Eat there. You'll love it.And for good value!! Only 85 rand for an amazing blue cheese bacon pasta.

We had an awesome stay at Amapondo and will definitely be returning in the future!!The owners are involved with everything from guest reception, food delivery, to bartending and are very attentive and kind. All the staff from arrival to departure greeted us with smiles and made us feel extremely welcome!The food and the bar were major plus points as you really don't need to go anywhere else when you have so much at your disposal!!10/10

Amapondo was great, we stayed in Crystal House and loved it so much. All the staff were friendly and went to extra efforts to find games for us when it rained for two days straight. The food was so tasty, especially the seafood panang curry - best I've ever had. Thank you for everything!

Stayed in a room. Kitchen fully equipped. Walking distance to the sea. Save and secure. Bar available. Walked up the stairs to camping site. Beautiful view from there. Not for caravans though. Fruit trees all over. New ablutions. Owner still busy with improving the place.

Wooow Buhle the chef is so friendly and this guy goes above and beyond to help the guests..., was not impress with a mampondo but Buhle sealed everything
