I'm reading the reviews and noticed that they only reply to the good post. Most likely becouse they fooled their clients. Here is my review. At times I would support store because they are in my area. I believe in supporting local. But they will never find me in there store again. I bought a battery from them. I was given a 3 year guarantee. It's also states on the invoice 3 year guarantee. There is still 9 months on this . The battery is faulty now. Does not want to hold a charge. They blame my alternater I took my car to the auto electrical shop and was told nothing is wrong with my alternater. I then took it to another auto shop and was told the same thing. the owner told me I have to buy a new battery or leave his store. My reply to them was that they will loose me as their client. He then said he doesn't care. This store needs to be educated on guarantees and how batteries operate. I feel once they take your money they don't care further. Please be careful when purchasing electric goods and get the sales person to sign on the guarantee agreement. Any way I took the battery myself to their supplier and it turns out the battery was faulty but they only give two year guarantee on that particular battery. They can't understand why Victoria motor spares gave me three years. The supplier is replacing my battery . I just feel it's unfair on them as the mistake was with VMS. VMS will not admit that they were wrong. When I came into the store they didn't test the battery or look when I bought the battery or look at the engraving on the battery. So how can they make an assumption like that. I am a building contractor and if I give a guarantee and the something happens to the job due to let's say the doors hinge breaks after 9 months and I gave a year. It is my duty to replace it even if it means I will loose some money. Because my word (promise) is my word.

Good service but when you call them no one picks up the phone i called trice yet no response perhaps they should take notice of the reviews and get a better rating .

I bought a torque wrench on 26 Feb 2022..i opened it today and torqued on 40nmThe unit did not work and I broke off one bolt.I went to the store to tell them about the faulty unit and were told tools purchased is not returnable and that it will be sent to supplier on Monday only. Refund won't be done and I must wait.I were told to go borrow another one. I always believed in supporting small business but with this pathetic service I won't be back.Very disgusted client

Mw wife's car refused to start on Christmas day and upon closer inspection i saw that the battery was still under warranty.It was purchased 2020 from Victoria Motor Spares and still had the purchase date engraved on the side.They were closed for the holidays and only opened on Tues 28 Dec.When i explained to the guy that the car does not want to start he first told me to take it to an auto electrician because it might be my starter.I told him there was nothing wrong with the starter because i would have picked that up a while ago.He then became annoyed and said in any case the suppliers are still closed and my battery will only end up laying there in the shop until next year.. and after that he was done serving me and ended up carrying on to the next customer.I used to know the previous owner Riaz.. and he was a real gentleman that went out of his way to see to his customers....and there used to a guy called Clive working there as well.. they gave amazing service.To anyone that is purchasing an item that comes with a warranty please DO NOT buy it here. they will smile and laugh when they sell you the item but when you bring it back it's a different story.They won't honour the warranty and you will be treated rudely.I ended up buying a new battery at Key Motors for R1200..and had to hand in my old battery which still had a year warranty left.Marwaan at Key Motors even tried to borrow me a loan battery so that i could take the other battery back to Victoria.. but unfortunately the battery terminals were on the opposite side of my car's.That is called service!!Won't be back to Victoria again.. i had to write this review so that other people don't get conned out of their hard earned money.

Best price for car spares.. take a sample with you if you can...

One of the best place in the area for car parts. Competitive prices but most importantly they always make a plan to get your part by making calls to their suppliers immediately.

Service is fast but not really friendly.A bit dismissive and impatient like most car places are towards a woman.Edit: A month after buying the battery it started giving problems so I took it back. Owner refused to take it back. He started coming up with all kinds of possible faults in my car to justify that its not the battery, from starter to fuses. I eventually took my car next door and had to pay for them to check why it wouldn't start on and off. They checked everything and came back and told me it's the battery. They measured the voltage and it was low. The guy from the sound shop next door had to go back with me to tell the owner to take the battery back and that there was nothing wrong with my car. Only then he agreed, after I spent money unnecessarily to have all the faults he plucked out of thin air ruled out. Horrible horrible customer service. I will never ever set foot there again. It's 8 months since they gave me another battery and my car hasn't cut off once. I spent all that money because he didn't want to admit he sold me a faulty battery.

management is poor, the customer service is non existent, I was accused of being called a liar after returning a part which they provided and which was the incorrect part. The owners are terrible, I hope this review helps anyone else looking for spares to please consider using a different supplier.

Know your parts going there
