Ocean Image Boat Tours & Rentals

Twice I have rented here and both times my deposit of R5000 is not returned. The first time I was able to get it back from my bank after waiting more than 2 months and being told it was going to be done. This time, it's been almost 2 weeks and still waiting. I will update my review when my deposit has been refunded.

My husband and I spent a fantastic 5-hour private boat trip with Ocean Image and couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Natashja set us up with a private tour to Hout Bay via email after learning about our preferences. Our skippers on the day of the boat trip were professional, experienced and a lot of fun. The views were absolutely stunning the entire way. We stopped at ship wrecks, saw Camps Bay and Clifton, tons of different angles of Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles, and even saw plenty of dolphins and seals. The stop at seal island was amazing, as was the trip in for fresh seafood lunch at Hout Bay. This was easily the highlight of our time in Cape Town and is a total must-do!

Wonderful boat cruise out to Clifton beach. Saw dolphins and a sun fish. Well experienced boat guide and all in all a great experience. Great service from their side with recommendations to move our booking to a day with better weather.

Great tours, very friendly and flexible guys! We spent 2 hours on the water and went to see dolphins and whales! One of the best experiences in Cape Town, a must do!

These guys are a scam - as the other reviewer said, they didn't refund our deposit money (no response after rental, ignoring messages and calls) and they messed us around on the day, only giving us a half day (we paid for full) and a much smaller boat. Don't use these guys!
