Beautiful views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and looking the other way the City Bowl. There is an easy boardwalk past the old Cape Washhouses and also a stream running down. A gentle walk into thr Deer Park reserve.

Amazing place to take the family. Chill in the park on Saturday, enjoy the market, live music and bring the dog to play as well.

A well kept park which has recently had a fence erected around it. Swings and jungle gyms for the kids and it has a small river running through the one side of it.

Great place to go for a walk or a picnic. There is no entrance fee and there is some times a market on a weekend morning. The park also has a fence all the way around around which makes it feel a great deal safer than some others in the area.It is also well maintained, with the grass seemingly being cut regularly and no litter to be found which is refreshing. The views of table mountain are fantastic and from some angles you can see all the way to the sea.

Fantastic new Saturday market. Wonderful atmosphere under the trees. Plenty of grass to sit on or you can bring a picnic blanket. Quality food vendors with lots of fresh fruit and veggies on sale. The highlights for me were Nourishd Cafe fresh juices and True Nature plant based and vegan dahls and soups. Simply delicious and super healthy. There were great musicians playing too. Very chilled market. Amazing views of Table Mountain. Probably the most naturally picturesque market in Cape Town. Due to the year end festivities, the next marked is only on 15 January 2022.

The oldest Olive Trees in the Country, Slaveroute relics and surrounded by an amphitheater of the mountain that rises out of the Sea. The gateway to Table Mountain.

This is a fenced and neat park where the kids can enjoy the playground and doggies can run around on nice green lawns off the leash! You have beautiful mountain views and you're pretty much alone as there are only very few people around. This park is probably best known to the local residents there and not as crowded as De Waal Park. Every Saturday from 8am to 2pm, there is the Mountain Market where the community sells authentic food, organic fruits and vegetables and some clothing and accessories. A great little market to go to on a Saturday morning with good vibes, friendly people and yummy food. Just make sure to bring along a picnic blanket or chairs. There are no tables or seating options at the park itself and it also doesn't have any public toilets.
