To comment in short: These guys were my recommended mechanics for few years but now with comebacks of two vehicles, they do not check cars before the are collected, very expensive costs with some weeks before services are completed. Unable to return vehicles as they are too busy, costing me thousands for other transport.

I had taken my car for a full service at Company X before traveling from Bloemfontein to Margate. It still broke down when I got to Margate and I took it to another mechanic, call it Company Y, who charged a lot but couldn't fix the problem. Then I took it to Marine Drive Motors. They were very friendly, professional and efficient. They immediately identified the problems but ran some tests to verify. They fixed everything that was wrong, including fixing several things that I didn't ask for free of charge (like a faulty side mirror controller). They did everything in record time at an amazing price with authentic parts, and kept up thorough communication throughout the process. They had ample patience for my numerous questions and scepticism (I had had bad experiences with mechanics). I received such excellent service and price despite it being Christmas season and despite not being a local potential future client. This was two years ago and my car is still running perfectly without any complaints, it is by far the best service my car has received and I would even consider traveling here just for my annual full service.
