Melissa Card Clinical Psychologist

I recently participated in a Counselling Course presented by Dr. Card. It was, to say the very least, an eye-opening experience. It taught me some crucial aspects of self-reflection and has enabled me to become self-aware in a manner that I have never been before. Prior to taking this course, I completed both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Psychology and what I learnt in this three months course by far surpasses the knowledge I accumulated in my four years of studying. Dr. Card is incredibly professional and has a way of making one feel empathetically understood and heard. I highly recommend not only taking the course she designed in order to relate to others better but also seeing her in her capacity as a clinical psychologist.

I have had therapists in the past, and Dr Card is by far the best, most compassionate, accepting therapist who I have ever worked with. She is amazing at understanding her clients. And I look forward to working with her in the future.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Basic Counselling Skills Training course offered by Dr Melissa Card. As a Psychology graduate I have learned so much about the practical aspects of therapy as well as the importance of self-care as a therapist. Melissa is also a very empathic and caring person who really goes out of her way to cater to your needs!

So disappointed and angry at this complete lack of unprofessionalismI made an appointment with Melissa Card, a Clinical Psychologist in Melville weeks ago. She was so nice and friendly over the phone. I confirmed the appointment by SMS as she had asked me to doWe go to the house, and we ring the bell. The office gets no response, so we ring for the house. Some rude guy answers and says she’s busy with a client so we’ll have to wait. That’s all fine and well. But having to wait outside in the street for 30min is not. Eventually I ring the bell again, and start speaking to a rude woman (who I suspect to be Melissa herself). She tells us she has no recollection of the appointment and we get sent awayNever will I try to see her again. And this behavior just makes me doubt her skills

Dr Card is a highly professional clinical psychologist who has a wealth of knowledge and experience. And her room is such a comfortable, safe space too. I would definitely recommend her for therapy!
