I did a soft gel tip treatment. I always dread going to this Sorbet because of the service that’s been historically bad. I went this time as my usual therapist is not around at Olivedale. I live in Broadacres. Reception was welcoming. I was early so I waited a bit. My appointment was at 10am. At 10:07, I was still waiting with no one informing me of any delays. There were 4 ladies at reception chatting. When I asked, only then the reception asked one of them to soak me. As she prepared to soak me off, my person finally arrived and started, she apologised for the delay. In the process no asking of my preference and gauging what I do usually etc. We tried to ascertain the right length and shape for my tips. She started the application still no communication and trying to understand my needs as a client she had never worked with before. At some point while soaking she asked me to move the acetone back to the hot water myself if it cooled down! She was away back at reception with the other ladies. At some point I was concerned of how close the gelish was to my cuticle and worried about lifting. She asked if I wanted a gal I said I wouldn’t mind. She continued and still did not give me a gap. At the end I asked she said it was too late and they wouldn’t lift. I’m not happy with this treatment at all. She didn’t bother to clean my fingers off the excess polish… I guess it will clean by itself… Even reception didn’t even both to ask whether I enjoyed the treatment or not just paid and that’s it. This Sorbet is honestly a painful experience! I went crossing my fingers that service had improved. It’s almost like the store doesn’t care about the acquisition of new clients they are quite happy with their regulars and might I add, seemed incredibly friendly with what seemed to be the white regulars. I regret having had gone back to this shop… Just thought I would give you feedback since I wasn’t asked at reception which I’ve know to be the norm at most Sorbets

Worst salon unprofessional service have to return to ensure nails done professionally. Mode your work is not up to standard you need to go for more training my dear. Will not recommend you.

I’ve followed Marcia for just over 5 years now and the Broadacres sorbet is probably one of the best salons out there. Everyone is so accommodating! Marcia is by far one of my favourite people out there, she is fun and always up for a conversation but if you want to sit in silence she’s good at that too. She always makes my day.

I have used sorbet a few times because they are convenient but honestly I'm not overly impressed by their service. The pedicure is expensive, I had a power pedi and the massage was just a rub and then she didn't even file or clean my nails they just got painted! She was very sweet but as far as getting what I paid for goes...I felt let down and cheated a bit.

Love it here! My go to place to get pampered! My nails last forever and the staff are all amazing people

This is definitely one of the best Sorbet branches in Fourways. Friendly & professional services from all the ladies that have assisted me. My nails always look amazing & last up to 4 weeks. Highly recommend!

I have had my nails done twice here, by Naomi and then Sarah, and both times my nails were absolutely PERFECT, lasted 4 weeks without chipping and were done in super quick time! Thank you ladies! And thank you Sorbet Broadacres for being the best salon

Thembi is nothing short of incredible! I’ve been going for three years and I’ve never had a negative experience in this store. Thembi is an amazing therapist and always goes above and beyond with any treatments I’ve had. I’ve also had other therapists in the branch and they’ve all been great. I would definitely recommend Broadacres, I’ve had far superior service here over other branches.
