Shield Car Wash
It now 8:18am on Saturday the 10th Dec. Arrived 8:05am...asked if they open though I know they open at 8am. Till now my car not touched instead some employees arriving late, some cleaning the work space and others chilling & talking. But my car not being washed despite saying earlier I need to leave at 9am. Unfortunately have ordered breakfast at Newscafe...can't take the car to Clearwater!!!! Fuming.

These people washed my car on sunday. It looks like a dogs breakfast and they moved it from the washbay to the drying bay and scraped the front bumper at the bottom.I am bitterly disssapointed in the service this place has been offering lately.When they opened it was great. The service was awesome and they did a brilliant job.Now they scratch new cars and bump them into the kurb and does not even have the decency to tell you that they have bumped your car.

I complained that staff members were not wearing masks nor sanitizing equipment or hands. I was given feeble excuses by the supervisor on duty. I returned to a flat tyre and zero interest from staff members in explaining how a metal key had ended up in my tyre whilst my car was in their care. I called head office and was told I would be called back by the franchise owner. It is more than a week later and no call back received. Had to have my insurer send help to change tyre. I will never go back to this car wash. I wish I could give negative stars.

I have been a customer for years. Yesterday I was informed that one now pays before the service is rendered and I voiced my opinion of this being unfair. Upon my return to my vehicle, the leather interior had been ripped. I cleared my car of all items before going through to the car wash and know that the seat was in perfect condition when I left my property in their care. I was made out as liar by the arrogant staff member. My damage is permanent and I won't be supporting Shield forth.

When I arrived at Shield around 14h00 there was nobody there. I saw 3 other cars turning around and leaving with me. @Management, sort out your staff, they're losing you more customers than you realise.

Was a good car wash, but know recently I don't know what's going on. I asked for the full wash but when I got home, the car was done half inside and still dirty marks outside. Didn't even bother to put polish on the tires

Prices are expensive for a full car wash.Car not even cleaned properly. There was several dirt still on car. Interior was not wiped down. Had to clean it myself when I got home.Service needs to be improved.

FALSE MARKETING and BAD SERVICE! The advert for R80 has been there for many months (see the photo) but the price at the car wash is higher (R150). The service is soo poor my car (SUV) came back with mud after I decided to wash with the higher price. THERE ARE BETTER CAR WASHES NEARBY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

USE AT OWN RISK, THEY DONT HAVE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY!!!! Staff has no clue how to clean a vehicle and respect your expensive asset....Worst service ever, scratched my car because equipment on bay next to mine not working and worker just pulls pipe across my bonnet, speaker inside car wet, windscreen and grill still have insects. Owner Christo/Hennie does not answer and manager just looks at you bewildered. Not even expecting to see a response from here but need to warn people.
