Foods always good. Sway heavily between chicken strips with a side and the chicken salad as I am gluten free.However I am finding that the friendliness of the staff has gone downhill. The service does not seem to be what it used to be.Hoping this picks up, possibly adding an option to tip onto the card machine may help with morale. Just an idea.Food tastes as good as it always has. However I did find my chicken strips to be cut up haphazardly compared to the clean chicken fingers when the restaurant first started. Seems to be more chicken chunks and pieces than strips now.Still a vibe with people constantly coming in and out and will still come again for an affordable delicious fairly health conscious meal.

Great food , great service . Clean store with well presented staff. Strips and Tjips (spicy) is really spicy. Located opposite Chris Saunders Park for great takeout picnic lunches.

Ordered 3 x large panko crusted pops only received 1.Panko pops over fried and hard but inside soggy.Burger was a sloppy mess with chicken fillet so tough and roll horrible stale and just crumbled.Called the restaurant to ask about my missing items and you just hold and get cut off, nobody answers your call.Afros Umhlanga is the worst branch.

I ordered Afro's for lunch today from MR Delivery and it was absolutely divine. I ordered the Champion wrap with kiff tjips and lemon sauce. It was so yummy. I think I'll get the avo option next time. I've only eaten Afro's once before years ago when they first opened but I'm glad that the menu has expanded and the food is still excellent. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the service since I have not personally gone into the store. Thumbs up Afro's!

Ordered double burger and strips via MrD. The chicken was tough and stringy. Had to throw it away. Disgusting. Continually inconsistent quality and no management action will ensure that this franchise will fail.

Focused menu of chicken burgers, strips and homestyle tjips. With convenient location, clean restaurant and good service, Afro's was a good choice for a quick take away. We did lemon and herb chicken our first attempt and will definitely try the hot sauces and coleslaw next time.

Excellent service from Manager Sandile and Mvelo Ngidi, always greets with a huge smile...our meals are delicious and the favourite part is the presentation of these meals....thank you to the kitchen staff who always go out of their way to make me the best Chicken salad in town.....
