Extremely disappointing! I had an appointment on Friday for soft gel tips and a Gelish paint. Monday afternoon and my thumb nail has completely lifted off.

Got my toes done, just a simple polish.My friend got hers done and the lady did absolute wonders....she was missing a chunk of her toenail and the lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) basically did some magic and made the toe nail look as if it was never missing !!!Amazing service and sweet ladies working there !!

Went there on the morning of 22 May 2023. Receptionist was friendly. I honestly cannot remember the name of the lady who assisted me with my treatment. I paid R1 035 for a full face thread, full legs and arm wax.I wanted my face threaded first because I wanted the swelling and redness to go away during the waxing of my legs and arms. The lady insisted that she will first do my underarms, arms, face and then legs. I went along as this lady told me that she's been in this industry for a long time. She also insisted to rather thread my eyebrows, above my lip and chin and the sideburns and jawline she would like to wax as it lifts better. She informed me that she always recommends her clients to do that when it comes to the face. Before applying the wax she managed to ask me whether I am allergic to which I responded no as I've previously waxed my face first but I prefer threading. Anyway, as she finished waxing my face she commented that I have sensitive skin. She was quite talkative, to the point where she had to even tell me not to answer her questions as she is pressed for time.Long story short I got a terrible breakout on my jawline where she waxed and it is slowly going away. She didn't even wipe my face when she was done threading. I had to apply the ointment/soothing gel myself as she had baby powder on her hands when she opted to do my legs.As this was my first time coming to this branch, I will never return again. This is literally the first time after a face wax that I have a breakout on my face from a Sorbet branch.I am so confused as to why the receipt says transaction conducted on 23 May 2023 when I was there 22 May 2023 (super odd) because I went to go do my hair right after this on the same day at the same mall.Anyway I'm really upset that I went in with a smooth jawline and came out with an irritated, red, bumpy, whitehead jawline - all this right before my birthday.

The selection for nailpolish (not gel) is not very great and most of it was lumpy. For the price I would expect higher quality of products. The shop was crowded with all of the equipment etc over the floor.It took many attempted phone calls to get through for an appointment. The team was really nice and did a great job for the space and products given.

I went in for Polygel Sculpture on a Saturday afternoon, received less than-than-friendly service from the nail tech and my thumb broke within 15 hours, with the other thumb chipping. Was underwhelmed with the look of the manicure I'm general but it was my first time with polygel so I didn't think much of it. Phoned to make an appointment for a redo; they were only available on Tuesday. By the time of my appointment 3 nails had broken off. I requested a refund and for them to all be taken off. Eventually, they agreed to refund me but they did not seem happy about it.

Amazing experience, exfoliate scrub has a lovely smell, therapist was very hospitable and provided water before she started. She carried out the Pedi in top class fashion. Highly recommended.

My most recent visit was on Chrismas eve, I could tell that the ladies were exhausted from the December rush. Service was okay, they've definitely done my nails better in previous visits.

I had a basic gel French paint done and I was charged r350- I think that is a bit ridiculous. My friend asked for a soak off and reapplication of clear gel paint and was given a whole different treatment - power mani for men and when he asked how much extra it would cost for clear gel he was told r300.We are not happy with the service at all but paid because we are good people.I would not recommend this place.

My daughter had her nails done by Amanda!! Never ever have we had such a rude manicurist!! My goodness - I glad I am going back to Durban to our usual Sorbet!!!!
