I have been sitting on the phone for exactly 2 and a half hours now - absolutely no luck - and I'm calling from a company. What exactly is the point of this SETA's existence?

I called SSETA for the whole morning on a Thursday 15 January 2023, & I struggled to go through.when I eventually got through to operator, she directed me to the wrong office. I spoke to Nomusa who was very helpful in that after telling her what I was looking for, she directed me to where she thought I could get help or direction. I called on manager Lindekani, my calls were not picked up, the altenative person was Phindile, in the same section, but my calls were unanswered. The phone rang & rang & rang no answer. Frustrated now, I'm forced to go higher until I reach office of the CEO

As a newly registered SDF, I too must admit my initial frustration of trying to secure just one supportive meeting with SSETA, it was nothing short of daunting. However, months of persistence eventually paid off, I managed to secure my first meeting and have since then received outstanding support, guidance and professionalism from the Mandatory Grants/ WSP department! Well done and keep it up guys!

I have never seen a disorganized department like this one they do stick to their promises. I have been in a learnership with them since May but have only received my monthly allowance. They don't respond to my emails and Facebook posts or even answer their phone.

This is the worst SETA ever, the employees cover and protect each other for wrong doings. The service is pathetic more when it comes to funding of programmes and processing of invoices.

Nomatter what time you call the Service Seta, their calls are hardly responded to. You can hold for over 30 minutes when the answering machine is continuously telling you, you are currently caller number 1" This kind of service is unacceptable and frustrating.I suggest the Seta looks at investing in a professional call centre which respond to callers' queries. My experience so far on 5 occasions has been way below par.'"

I had written my trade test with TECHNOTRAIN TRAINING CENTRE in 2021/08 .I passed and was told my certificate will be issued to me within 3 months.and it has been almost 2 years now waiting for my trade test certificate, and when I call and enquire about it , im told that SERVICESETA is the problem and you guys haven't made a collection of my trade test certificate .I was referred to one employee named Siphokazi from SERVICE SETA and she has been dogie about everything , its been over 2 month she keeps saying she will collect the trade certificate on every Thursday .to be honest as an African black child from a less privileged family background. saving funds from hard work to try change my life and that of y family , then get to be dealt with in this manner , it truly heart breaks and delays the uBUNTU that was meant and fought for by our country .I wish not to bore you but all I ask is assistance on getting my matter resolved and fixed for companies im applying to request for the trade certificate and I can't provide it .I also contacted Merseta and they too mentioned to me that they can't assist and I can only be assisted by you since TECHNOTRAIN has submitted my documents with you .please your help will be highly appreciatedkind regards
